Being a 24-year-old student I should rather learn than watch animes, but oh well, who cares... I've been watching animes since my childhood, though back then I didn't know what I was watching :) I started to search/download/watch animes when an anime tv-channel in my area began to broadcast in 2004. My very first series of which I knew it was an anime, was Slayers; then I got to know more and more stuff... For about one year, I had watched everything I could, even the worst series; then one of my friends introduced Rurouni Kenshin to me, and since then I always think over which anime is worth watching.
My #1 is Kenshin, the series up to ep.62 (since I love the manga, and the adaptation ends here). I like fantasy stories, like Slayers, comedy, like Kodocha, history, like Kaze hikaru, good slice of life-series, like Honey and Clover; and everything from Studio Ghibli and Watsuki Nobuhiro.
I'm a crazy fantranslator, strict proofreader, historytard and mad fangirl of Watsuki-sensei and the Shinsengumi :D
Also, I support local dubs and official mangatranslations - good or not, they make anime and manga available for everyone in a certain country.

Hi, im a great fan from Rurouni kenshin... i love it .. for me is the best anime for ever... I have all manga....The dubbing is from Colombia in Spanish-Latinoamerican Language and I had a chance to meet Alexander Paez-Dubbing Kenshin Himura's i am so happy.....

It is indeed possible to buy tickets on the spot. You can buy tickets ahead until the very last day of the convention itself.

I'm not surprised you like Rurouni Kenshin. I familiarized myself with this story only last summer and was deeply delighted. In my opinion, it's one of the best manga ever created, and Nobuhiro Watsuki made it to my personal Top 3 as mangaka - together with CLAMP and Masashi Kishimoto. RK made really great impression on me, both with magnificent characters and brilliant plot. It's always a bless to find such a story.

are you refuring to the guys that the shinsengumi fought in the Ikidaiya inn? or other people?
i've played the game (through a million times xD) so i dont mind answering your question ^^
