And to answer your bus question, many major cities have trains and busses that are fairly cheap and even free for some students depending on certain things. Busses and trains are pretty big here in the states. Even in smaller towns they have busses but those smaller tows sometimes have shitty scheduling, unpredictable timing, and can be more unlike in the city. the city doesn't miss a beat haha.

Yeah 16 16-year-olds old can get licenses man. The thing is they went through a driving school (usually offered by the school) and it's kinda expensive. You take that class for an X amount of weeks and then you have drive with your parent(s) and log a certain amount of hours before taking the tests and then getting your license. Shoot my old friend Mitch had a car and driving at the early 16 which I thought was the coolest haha.

Aye man, I encourage you to try a new anime that you wouldn't normally watch..you might be delightfully surpised. I started reading this choujo slice of life romance manga called Cat Street and it's great. I'm only a few volumes in but I think I might have a new favorite character and manga depending on how it all ends.

I can see your point and is indeed true that every generation adds something. Makoto Shinkai movies are beautifully directed and visually stunning, for example. And don't get me wrong, 90s were full of crappy low budget anime too and not everything was solid gold but the majority of projects were inventive and original. Now seems like everything is isekai with silly twists or slice of life.

For the reviews, I don't think everyone has valid opinions. Even though someone can articulate well their disappointment with a show, for me It comes down to knowing what you're talking about. For example, you might genuinely not like Cowboy Bebop setting or characters, it's not a big deal and it's taste dependant. But if you write that it has poor animation, the soundtrack is mid or some other bullshit, rating it 5, then I'm just evaluating you as an uneducated swine. And I've seen plenty of those sadly, at the point that I started ignoring reviews. That's sad because I'm a professional games reviewer and I literally write reviews every day. Collecting them just for fun is awesome! That's different. How big is your collection ? Right, I'm not hating on my generation it's all I know from the smells to the historical moments, that this generation is me. But I hear how people used to really live in the moment rather than on their phones or even just something like talking on the bus or on the airplane instead of staring at their screens. I guess my griping stems from the lack of conversations and overall human connection many are missing out on because they'd rather be staring mindlessly at a phone.
