First Anime Watched ever: DBZ (back when i was a freshman in high school; 2001)
I grew up playing sports my whole life, so i never really had time to get into anime. It wasn't until i went to college when i stumbled across adult swim which happened to air Inuyasha, Full Metal Alchemist, and Trinity Blood on that kick ass saturday night. From there i remembered how awesome DBZ was, so i figured i would take a look at whats new. Bleach came shortly after..need i say anything else.. i've been hooked.
I'm also a huge fan of subs over dubs.. As long as the Fan Subbers are good (which they are 99% of the time), the culture and society of japan adds so much more than english main-stream translations. Also, since some of the language is not acceptable by US channels the real point isn't always made and not too mention how much more emotion they put into their characters.
I am currently a comp sci major at the University of Buffalo, looking to take japanese some time in the near future! Theres probably a liiiiiiittttle bit more about me but I'm lazy and don't feel like typing anymore, so just ask!
