I'm fairly generous with my ratings because I'm really just saying how much I enjoyed a show. It isn't too hard for me to be happy/entertained so that's why there are a lot of higher numbers. That doesn't mean I'm just giving out 10's to any show that makes me smile. A 10, to me, is a show that I enjoyed everything about. It doesn't mean I think it's flawless, just that I was always excited for new episodes or thrilled the entire time I watched it. Conversely, a 1 would be something I nodded off during because of how boring it was (which has yet to happen).
I try not to drop things. My drop is just to never start it or plan to.
Sometimes, my "re-watching" shows are stalled due to them being re-watched on DVD and I don't have the next one or it's not out yet.
Also, I realize almost all of my favorite characters are female... I can't explain why that is.

It did end too soon, but I can really appreciate the theme of the neverending story sort of dove-tailing it the way it did. Personally, I think it was a nice touch. At some point, I feel that more Baccano! could come out. Not really looking for it, but I certainly will take it, especially after what we've had to go through this last year. I'm trying so hard to finish up stuff, but I just can't. Surely, you know how that is.

Movie 5 is really special. Even with its length and superb production values, I could never justify paying a few hundred bucks for a single movie.
Is there news on Durarara? If the price point is going to be that crazy, then I'll have to pass. Solid show, but no Baccano.

No DVD release? Honestly, that's silly. It's not like all of the movies were masterpieces. I'd probably feel kind of shitty if I spent $50 for movie 6, for example. Most of them aren't even full length. I'll have to look at the packaging to see if that makes a difference. Sounds like Aniplex price gouging to me. Though, really, those movies are so gorgeous, it'd probably be worth it to have on Blu-ray.
edit: Looks nice enough, but still. This sort of reminds me of when they tried something similar with the release of Shigofumi. That still hasn't come out. That price really needs to come down, though.

Good news on that OVA. Denpa is good. It's not Kure-nai good, but it's pretty intense. I'd probably wait for all of the episodes to come out before watching, though.
BTW, where should we stop for Bakemonogatari?

Don't ask me why. Actually, episode 2 wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but the show went right back down hill with half an episode worth of oil/mud wrestling, a woman who uses a snake for underwear, said snake biting a woman's boob, among other things.
