I think there are a lot of light novels for Baccano! so there's probably plenty of source material to work with, but yeah, I suppose I'm incredibly happy with what came out already. Though I would love to actually read the novels. One fansite had translated some but I dunno how much.

Luckily, I haven't been overly intrigued by much lately so I can work on making a bit of progress in my overdue shows (even if they're awful). I hit the Noitamina shows all the time, but other than that I've been more choosey lately. I have about a billion DVDs to watch though so I haven't made anything easier on myself overall :D

Hahah true. It was spectacular but that's such a stretch. I'll have to see how much money I have floating around come Feb. I doubt I'll pick it up immediately but maybe down the line a little. I liked KnK after all.

Durarara has a $60 MSRP so less than that per 1/3 of the show. TRSI has each going at a pre-order for $40 with some little trinkets added in. I liked Baccano more too, but I was happy Durarara had a full season to build and expand everything/one. Baccano ended too soon, even with the OVAs.

Yeah the lack of DVD is depressing. Blu-ray will look sweet but I don't have a TV that's worth it anyways! The extras are nice and it does look pretty damn cool, but it's tough. I could buy soooo much more for $400. It's worse cause I want to support things like this getting brought over here. It might just be Aniplex really sucking with prices though. I've been wanting to pick up the Gurren Lagann movies but they're ridiculous too. They're gonna get me with Durarara for sure though.

Oh well. I guess a good question would be... is movie 5 worth a couple hundred bucks? :D

Hmmm... you might as well have an impromptu vote after episode 12 to see if everyone is happy with it. Even though 12 is in the middle of the arc, it still has a "conclusion" feeling to it because it was the last TV episode. Otherwise 13 adds more to the arc but is just more open ended.

A new OVA of Kure-nai is apparently coming out in July. I must say, I'm excited! I still haven't gotten around to checking out Denpa teki na Kanojo though :(

Keep watching Shin Mazinger. The early episodes aren't so good, but once you get past them, it's a bunch of awesome thrown at you.
