Well, to make it short, it's about people who are stuck in the afterlife because they aren't ready to "move on" yet. They are rebelling against a character named "Angel" who they believe will send them to the next life by force.
The funniest thing about the show is definitely the fact that the characters can't die (since they're already dead) and abuse that to heroically sacrifice themselves without actually aking any harm.
On the other hand, there's also sad pasts, like in every KEY-series. It's similar to Clannad in the way it combines comedy and tragedy. But the scenario is definitely interesting.
Well, at least i really enjoy it since its very similar to sayonara zetsubou sensei but only in terms of akwardness. Don't be mislead ^^, its not gloomy or dark like zetsubou sensei but the story and the side characters are freaky and hilarious. I would definetely recommend it if you enjoy unusual and unique plots and characters.
well im not saying the anime is bad either of them on the contrary they are good and the ova is very close to manga
what i meant was that the manga goes deeper, its longer and the storyline is finished
which brings more enjoyment (in my opinion)
Well, hard to say. I think most people (at least most people I know) had false expectations about it and wanted to see something else. Like a serious world war two movie and not something about ghost knights, nazi occultism and soviet super science (except one guy, he wanted more superscience). But I think it’s a quite enjoyable movie, if you like stuff like this. It´s not really meant to be taken seriously though. At least it looks awesome. xD
Hey, that was indeed one of the most pleasant anime to watch. There may be nothing so great about the scenario, but overall, it was quite unsual, it stands out of the pack. The series is about Michiko, a criminal on the run who is wild and sexy, but endearing, and Hatchin, a rebellious & tenderhearted little girl, the two of them decide to take the road to find Hiroshi, Hatchin's father and Michiko's ex-boyfriend. Along the story, we begin to forget the revelant quest to concentrate on the special, strong and growing relationship between the two main characters, they get to know each other, have fights, separate, meet again... It was quite rich of emotions compared to most of the anime series I've seen, besides that, what makes it special is its atmosphere. The story is set in a fictional country that looked very similar to Brazil, which gave the series a nice, exotic touch, the very colorful and unique character design, the various landscapes from arid deserts to rainforests through insanitary urban fields, the jazz, and somtines funk music, all these elements emphasize the exotic atmosphere of the anime and fit perfectly in its universe. The fluent animation was great, too. In short, I can only recommend watching it.
