Hello all, I am not good at writing these reviews and I usually dont consider it worth my time. But this one struck a deep nerve in me.
I picked this manga up because it was listed in the recommendations of both Himegoto Asobi and Sorenari ni Shinken Nan desu, two amazing manga in the single dad category where the dads both work hard and do everything they can to try and fight and raise their children while finding love that they dont feel they deserve.
This manga, though represented as having a "similar storyline" is nothing like that. Rather than the father being reliable and fighting

Well, I've never really written a review, so please dont expect too much from this! I was just so surprised that it hasnt gotten much attention since it is such an enjoyable manga.
Anywayyy, this is really just a collection of oneshots, but they are like SERIOUSLY good oneshots. Which doesnt really happen all that often. Now, they are really dark. It deals with stuff like death, sacrifice and even cannibalism....but it's definitely not as gruesome as it sounds. It's just dark in the way where you love someone, but you are going to give them up so that they can be happy. It's sweet and ...

This is one of those brilliant one-shots that are just barely long enough. The story itself is rather interesting. I have never seen something based in a pawnshop before. Though, the whole "Teach me!" really reminded me of Koukou Debut.
All in all I say that this piece is worth trying if you are looking for a light, funny manga that still has a romantic twist. It has definitely become one of my favorites. ^___^

I've never written a review before, but all I can say is that this manga was awful. There seems to absolutely no romance in it whatsoever. They claim to be in love, but there was absolutely no development for said love. They just dive headfirst into it. It leaves you feeling empty and takes a mafioso storyline and seems to make it cheesy.
I just wanted to write one of these to prevent anyone else from making the mistake of picking up this manga. It's really a waste of time. I hope I helped you. |
