It's anime, just enjoy it lol Oshii is a master of his craft, his work on Jin-Roh and Angel's Egg was the peak of his craftsmanship (at least for me). I'm sure you'll enjoy most of what he has to offer.

Mhm, from what I remember didn't really have a problem with Bell much and Hestia was all good and well. I agree about the characters, they weren't built up well but neither was the world. Saying that they did cover the first four to five volumes of the LN into 13 eps so the level of detail in the explanations weren't all that great since some things were seemingly rushed. It's not the best fo adaptations based of a LN for sure. Lol would've never guessed that if you hadn't have mentioned itxD

Ahh okay. Oh what did you find disappointing about Danmachi? SAO is good I guess, though not with out its problems. Your English seems perfectly fine to me. Where are you from?
