Of course I'm excited for the TRianThology, there are rumors that Maeda Jun will write one of the scenarios, so I can only be good :D I've kinda hoped they would announce another " When they cry" game though. There were rumors that there will be soon one in space or something^^

Erika isnt pefect.In the same EP she was trying to figure out how both a knock that was confirmed by the red that CANNOT happen and how a letter that COULDNT be placed in any way was placed.
EP7 didnt reveal that the theory it was only adding backstory for the preexisting theory.An entire EP of bullshit misleads?Lion,Will,Shannon and Kanon ALL of them are there to mislead us?I just cant buy it.
Just like Kinzo someone impersonates or everyone just accepts "her".
Battler and Will didnt bear with Bern's(and Lambda's in some cases) bullshit tho, when they were the Game Masters or move the story the way they liked.
Both are magical since they both contain fantasy scenes, but I prefer the magical ending.The trick ending is really lackluster.
The gold cant become red or more powerful than the red if it isnt actual truth tho.
Erika is the detective but we dont follow her POV.We dont know what Erika is seeing when talking to Kanon and Shannon and she doesnt use their names.It's one of the reasons Will demands from both of them to appear in front of him in EP7.
Even from Maria's POV, Beatrirce, body and personality, is a witch and not a human so she doesnt count.
For some reason I was trying to recall Kanon having something to do with the room with the gold,, which makes the chapel important.....I am embarrassed.orz
There is this red:"I shall say more with the red! When the five other than Kinzo were murdered, the murderer was definitely in the same room!"
Kanon either killed Shannon as an accomplice and then was betrayed and killed in the chapel by the culprit OR Shannon was attacked by the culprit and in order to fool him Kanon discarded/let Shannon's persona die.Then he went to the chapel where he was killed by the culprit.Kanon doesnt have to pretend to be Shannon again since there is no truth stating when the murders happened or that the bodies werent moved after the discovery(There are other possible variation of the same scenario.You may say "Is that even possible?".This is Umineko.What is possible and what isnt, even in the human world, depends on suspension of disbelief(like nobody dared to find out about Kinzo's life or death status before 1986)).The relatives conveniently refuse to do anything with the crime scenes(they even refuse to let George go to the parlor where Shannon's body is located) till the police arrives.
That some may not reach that truth or any truth in early eps in any story doesnt invalidate it.Although I didnt have real evidence and hadnt read the VN yet, I did think that someone is acting as two people.And even without proof the servant pair that has similar characteristics was an obvious choice. Chiru EPs only blatantly confirms it.Watching Higurashi before Umineko helped too since I had the Shion-Mion trick in mind.
I dont know, fantasy side is part of the story so it is fine, but an author intentionally misleading the readers(referring to the Shkanon theory) is really low for me.That is why I dont believe he did it.
Wait do you count Beatrice in the total number of humans(any meaning of the word)
From Erika's POV she takes the place of Kinzo.But from battler and BEato's POV she is the 17th individual.So without her there are 16 people.The only way that is possible is for someone other than Kinzo to not really exist.By RED the maximum number is 18(By Erika's definition of human) but Battler and Beato reduce the number to 17.
Yasu and Beatrice dont exist, in the EPs at least, as humans on Rokkenjima during the murders.Only Shannon and Kanon are there.
What do you mean about Kanon going to the chapel?It's been a while since I read it but I dont remember the chapel being important in EP3.
Shkanon theory doesnt reveal the culprit or what happened on that day, it is just one part of the mystery. I doubt that the author wasted so much time on misleading us readers on something mostly"irrelevant" to the culprit.Shkanon theory
helps understand Yasu/Shannon and makes some crimes easier to solve(like in EP4 where you cant find Kanon's body, because the well he fell into cannot be opened in any way.Could Shannon and/or Kanon be the culprits?Of course but that's up to the reader if he wants and can elevate the Shkanon theory into Shkanon Culprit Theory.
I believe that what he talks about is Bern's culprit scenarios.Although Battler family theory work, especially when you think of Rudolf's business and the whole Asumu-Kyrie backstory.
I gave up on the culprit theory since EVERYONE can be the culprit.No matter how much we try we arent impartial detectives from a novel, we dont have a detective's authority and we cant use red.There is too much bias when we look for the culprit.If you think that Eva is the mastermind you WILL find clues about that.If you think Natsuhi and Krauss are behind everything you will again find clues for that etc.Willard woul headbut me hard for saying that, but I really dont want to waste time on something I know wont be 100% true, so I gave up on it.
It is much better looking at theories and point out mistakes or add more to what another reader found.
Note that "supervising" doesn't mean much and is more of a marketing strategyby studios.For example the creator of Fate/Stay night was supervising the anime of 2006,but the very first scene of the anime(Among other things) goes against the canon story.(BTW DEEN studio was aslo bhind the first adaptation of Fate/Stay Night.Coincidence?)

I am not talking about stuff like the Chiester sisters.I am talking about whole EPs, or events, like Kanon's disappearance and Battler's rescue from the locked room he was trapped in.
Because if they dont call him a liar and deny an entire EP(s), they cant prove their theories.
She is "god" in Umineko, and she decided to never open the cat box so yeah I do believe that she represents Ryukishi.
Since Umi made it obvious that magic probably exists I wasnt really confused but I could sense that there was a serious lack in detail and when the end came I say "fuck it" time to read the VN.
It's true that if you have read the VN it is easier to spot some things but at the same time you can also "spot" what they left out.I doubt an anime only viewer can understand much.Mainly because they will be pissed of at some parts of the adaptation...like all of Battler after EP1 arc ends.(Thank you studio deen>_>)
I didnt reach a truth about a definite culprit but I do believe in the Shkanontrice theory but without her being the culprit.If there is a theory I hate is the Rosa culprit theory mainly because those that came up with it are ready to even call Ryukishi a liar in his own work.
I do believe that it is a mystery but at the same time I do think that magic exists.
