One of the better Precure movies in my opinion. As the name suggests it's mainly centered around characters from Hugtto and Futari wa, so this is what you should expect the focus to be on character-wise but it is an all stars movie and every single Precure in the franchise up to Hugtto is featured. In particular there is a lot of development for Nono Hana, so if that's a character you like then you'll probably love this movie.

Quality action, hilarity, emotional moments. You'll generally find this in any Precure movie and this one does all of these things well. Watching all the Precure roll ...

Cures from several seasons interact with each other and fight a big bad guy. If you're fond of any of the relevant characters, especially Hana, Saaya, and/or Homare, you'll enjoy the movie. Its structure isn't that different from a typical episode of Precure, it's just longer and has better animation. Watching the Hugttos and the Kirakiras get together was really cute and fun, and the final fight was pretty exciting. The Mahous don't get as much screentime but they're around. The morals about keeping promises are important for anyone to soak in I think. Also the opening track is one of the better ones of ...

A big pile of precure get together and get into fistfights with a grab bag of villains. For a lot of fans of the franchise that's all you should really need to know, it's hard to go wrong with this formula. This one is fairly early on so there aren't as many precure running around as later all stars movies. It does have Tsubomi and Erika though, which are a couple of my favorite precure ever and in this movie they have a leading role.

This one isn't without its problems. The drawing style mismatches Heartcatch characters a bit, can be a little jarring. Characters weren't ...

Politics and warfare from multiple perspectives is already somewhat uncommon in anime. Just that set in the real world is even less common, and adds an interesting layer of entertainment especially if you have an interest in history and geopolitics. This film delivers well for people that enjoy war and politics. Cold war, explosions, nukes, space lasers. Also if you're someone that's interested in military craft this series definitely looks like it was given a lot of care from people who are very enthusiastic about historical aircraft and ships and things of that nature. You could almost say it has "fan service" for fighter jets.

The ...

When deciding how good a series like Star Twinkle is you've got to think: are you comparing it to other Precure series, or are you comparing it to anime as a whole? I won't sugar coat it, compared to some other Precure series Star Twinkle isn't as good. But in the end it's still Precure. It's fun, it has cute girls, it has action, it's really easygoing and heartwarming and will make you laugh and cry. On the spectrum of the entire medium, Star Twinkle is great.

Hikaru is really cute and it was a lot of fun going on a fifty episode ride with her ...

My favorite Precure of the season do cute things, the fight scenes are well-animated, got me to tear up a couple of times. That's all I'm asking for from a Precure movie. If I get those things I am perfectly satisfied and this one delivered. Lots of slapstick with Lala which is the best condition for that character. Some of the constellation forms look great, others look more ridiculous than a clown but I've come to terms with reality. Nice to see the Star Twinkles animated in forms other than their defaults. There's a really good world exploration scene that could pass for an advertisement ...

Ichika, Hana, and Hikaru are all in the same seventy minute movie. That'll be good enough for some of you and was good enough for me. This movie isn't much different than a three-parter from the main Star Twinkle series, except it has better production quality and a few cures floating around from previous series. If you're enjoying the Star Twinkle series I don't see any reason why you wouldn't enjoy this movie. The fight scenes are really well animated relative to the series and you get some good character interactions out of it. The only thing that would have made it better is if ...

Out of all of the 3-5 minute shorts I've seen, and I've seen a good deal, this is one of my favorites. The characters are extremely cute, the dialogue is hilarious. It's very much worth your time. Monaka might have been the cutest girl in the season, and she's trapped in a tiny short! How sad! Also has some great moments for someone who's a huge fan of Kannagi such as myself, for whatever reason.

Of course you could consider the runtime of this series as a flaw, and in some sense I do as I'd love it if it was at least a ten minute ...

Ninja Mono (Anime) add
So there's some ninjas and about half of them are girls and most of those girls are cute. There's some slashing and some gags and a few cool fight scenes. This is one of those things, pretty common with OVAs where it's like if you're looking for something entertaining to occupy an hour of your life this will do the job. There's nothing that particularly stands out about this one, which is fine because that means there's nothing that really makes it bad. I think the final fight in the second episode is pretty cool and was definitely more than I was expecting, you probably ...

Galaxy Angel (Anime) add
I'm talking about the series as a whole and not just the first seasons. It might seem long but by the end you'll wish there was more.

Some of the dumbest stuff you'll ever see and some of the most advanced comedy you'll ever see. Everything in between. This is a skit show, episodes don't necessarily rely on the content or canon of preceding episodes. There's sitcom style stuff, plenty of parody, occasionally completely serious episodes that remind me of Ghost in the Shell, and episodes that defy any form of categorization. Some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen in my life came out of ...
