I'm from the Netherlands.
English and my own language are mandatory, but highschool is split in levels and if you got the highest level (VWO) then you also need to learn a 3rd language mandatory, but if you have Latin/Greece as your third then you also need a 4th. ;P
Pretty hardcore, if you think about it. So that's the reason why I'm learning Latin, French, Dutch and English.
I can also understand/speak (''broken'') Vietnamese, lol!

Not really trying to learn another language, aside of the ones I know. +I forget it, if I don't use it for a year. For example I forgot everything about Spanish and German xD. I'm more of a béta guy and I'm rather lazy, if it comes down to school. But for some reason I only got 1 mark that's a 5.

And how do I learn Japanese ? :P
On MAL I see sometimes people that give you some sites, where you can learn it, but yeah ... I forget those sites ;d.
So if you know some, I can check it out maybe. Because I got lots of spare time, since my test week is over now.

Lol, hmm, I thought you could drop all languages except English xD. Because in my country you can drop everything except our country language and English, if you have a lower education than the highest lv (VWO). ;P

It's indeed awesome, I also like the time travel. But the main reason why it's perfect for me is, because of Hinazuki Kayo ;3. That's the reason why I like it more than Steins;Gate + better opening, but I haven't see the end of the series yet, so for now I have high expectations! ;))

Did you just do self study? And yeah, I haven't actually taken any courses in Japanese yet (though I am taking a Chinese course.) They didn't have Japanese where I'm studying right now...:C 頑張 ります! :D
