Hello, this is the sequel to the original series with an alternate ending (23b). I struggled to flollow the plot as its more convoluted and it adds and changes the roles of characters. It left a lot of information out like the brown hair girl in the cafe like why did she have slight reading Steiner and what was the point of her being there? And it doesn't really explain what happened to SERN. So they were only able to develop time travel because they hacked the dmails, they're that fickle? And it doesn't expand on the main antagonists, the Americans and Russians but I
...
get the gist of how they gain time travel. Episode 8 was highly rated on IMDB but it was pretty boring and kind of filler. Most of the episodes expanded the plots but unlike the Original Steins;Gate it leaves a lot of unanswered questions and kind of rushes things. One of the worst thing about this show is it too damn depressing Okabe is moping around along with every other characters because they rely on him for their mental health. Mayuri whole life is about Okabe while the other characters step up and tske the lead. Hasida was probably the biggest improvement from the original series. He showed a lot of character development and seeing him lead the 'Valkyries' was pretty cool. Seeing the dystopian future was pretty cool but I wished it had been more fleshed out. Annoying thing which is present in a lot of animes is characters acting like pedos. Like come on, no fetishsizng children its not difficult Hashida.
The animation was brillant like the original series. A lot of the characters had their outfit changed, obviously Okabe and Mayuri which is nice. The fight scenes were pretty ass though. The theme song was ok, not as good as original and there were so many distracting ending songs. It has become a trend to change it after 12 episodes, no just 1 and make it 1 minutes instead of 1 and a half. No problems with the soundtrack.

Steins;Gate: The Movie is a sequel to episode 25 of Stein;Gate but its pretty much pointless to watch. The movie was about Rintarou Okabe fucking up the timelines so he starts disappearing from the Stein Gate timeline so Kurisu has to fix everything. The dynamic is changed with Kurisu having to save him but Its just not as good. Her tsundere personality is so annoying. Anyways the pacing was really slow and a lot of footage was rehased from the series so I feel like they tried to cash in. The animation was the same quality as the series which is excellent but It felt
...
too much like the original show, they should have done something new. Im gonna watch Stein;Gate 0 and I hear its really depressing so hopefully it doesn't dissappoint me

I already reviewed season 1 so I'll review season 2
The start of Code Geass season 2 was disappointing. After a suspenseful ending, it's revealed that Lelouch lost his memory of being Zero and of his Geass. We are introduced to his new brother Rolo and to a arrange of characters with their memory stolen. I found the 1st half of S2 repetitive and boring. When the 2nd half happens everything gets going. The pacing is faster, there is more character development and more action. Lelouch, the protagonist is the most anti-hero propagandist I've ever seen. He's extremely well written and unevenly distributed as the most
...
important character. C.C is my second favourite character. Her character bloomed during the season and instead of being a spectator (like in the first season), she has the power to change things and act by her moral compass. The romance plots were really annoying and boring
The animation was quite good. The OP's and ED's always looked really good and the action was OK. There was too much fanservice and it was very annoying. I still don't like the stick figure looking characters but at least it's unique.
The voice acting does not falter. Sometimes its pretty emotionless but I found it great. The 1st Opening was really good but the rest of the OP's and ED's were lacklustre and were saved by good animation. The soundtrack was good.
In conclusion, This anime was fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone who likes an antihero protagonist and I will watch the remaining spinoff movies.

The Reward for Ambition too Great is Self Destruction
Berserk is the 1st anime adaption of the long-running manga by Kentarou Miura. It's Seinen with themes of action and adventure.
Berserk is about the protagonist Guts who recently has joined the Band of the Hawk. He becomes successful, travelling with them and matures throughout. It's 25 episodes and there were no problems with pacing. The story had a melancholy and dark feel to it. Griffith the leader of the band of the hawks was embodied this quite well. He was very comforing to his soldiers. Griffith was a perfect leader until he lost his edge. Then the
...
show tranformed to dreamlike for the last 5 episodes. Indivisualism and reaching your goals were important to this anime. The fiighing in this gorey anime expressed meesages and emotions such as loneliness, determination and resillence. Gut swung his sword with incredible anger to kill his enemies. Guts presence increased uncertainty and ambition. His physical and mental strength brought power to The Band of the Hawk. Casca was the most realistic character, she had practicality and became more assertive and becomes a great leader. Griffith and Guts become her love interest and it is quite generic.
Berserk is animated by OLM. The animation is great and gory. The fights contain a lot of gore and sword fighting. The character designs are quite medival and the designs are great. The expressions were great.
I watched the Sub and it was ok. The voice acting was quite average and it relied on the animation to be expressive. The OP was great, I wish more OP's were only 1 minute long instead of 1 and a half. I didn't mind that it was in English. The ED was also great and the simple animation during it enhanced its quality. The soundtrack overall was good.
In conclusion, I thought this anime was great. I would recommend this to older teenagers and adults that like violence and great main characters.

I dropped this last year after watching an episode. My reason for this is that the animation looked weird. 1 year later, I returned back to this anime. Here is the review.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is about an estranged 17-year-old boy that has been given supernatural power. He wants to find out about his mother's death and keep his sister safe. It is animated by Sunrise who also animated Cowboy Bebop and Gintama.
The story of Code Geass is mostly filled with fighting and school shenanigans. The anime has mechas and a lot of warfare, I didn't find it repetitive. The starting of the
...
anime was sudden but when you discover Lelouch's past it makes sense. I personally didn't the school parts. They were used for comic relief and to show Lelouch's friends and how he struggled to keep his identity unknown. The comic relief was mostly filler and unimportant. The fanservice was very cringy but good for bonding. I would like to know more about The Chinese Federation and E.U in the Second Season. Overall the story was good.
Lelouch Lamperouge is the main character. He's quite the stereotypical protagananist with a revenge story and wanting to find out the truth. C.C is another important character. She is cold but loyal to Lelouch and thinks well of him. Kallen is one of Lelouch's important soldiers. She is quite annoying a decent character. The characters in the Britannian army were ok. I thought that they got too much screentime and that the Japanese side should have got more, I thought the romance plot with Villetta was pointless. I was not interested in his classmates that much of which Shirley and the girl with glasses were my least favourite.
The animation was quite good. I thought that they looked lanky and stick figure-ish was weird but I got used to it. The character designs were alright. The fights were rigid sometimes.
The 1st and 2nd OPs were amazing, the 3rd was kind of pointless as it was only for 2 episodes. The 1st ED was very good and the second was ok. I watched the Sub and the voice acting was very good. I found it weird that animals make different noises in different languages.
In Conclusion, Code Geass is a great anime, I found the ending of the season unfulfilling but throughout it was very interesting. I would recommend this to anyone interested in mechas and a revenge story.

I found Monster on MyAnimeList top manga about a year ago. It was high up so I gave it a try. I read up to a third of it before I dropped it. I found it painfully slow and I heard it had an anime adaption so I thought I could watch that instead. Here is the Review:
Monster is about a Japanese Neurosurgeon, Kenzou Tenma, quest to find a psychopathic former patient. Tenma gets framed for murders all throughout Germany and tries to clear his name. This anime is a crime/psychological/drama based on the manga by Naoki Urasawa.
The story of Monster was interesting. Every character
...
was attracted to the mystery of Johan and the mystery of Tenma and everything was connected to each other. The pacing was quite slow, the Mr Schwald and the parts involving Suk were drawn out, Monster could have had fewer episodes. The show was mostly serious with a dark and grey theme, death was very common and the general aura was that everyone had a job to do and everyone had a moral code. The main characters dictated what would happen to everyone, and sometimes changed their role and moral code. There were roughly three perspectives in the show, one was the perspective of the average/ignorant person. The average person believed what the police told them about Tenma and were not too concerned about Tenma's journey. Another was Tenma's and his allies' perspectives. Their lives had been severely affected by Johan and they wanted to put a stop to him. These people shared the trust of Tenma and tried to help him. The last was Johan's goal was incomprehensible to anyone. The people that trusted him were extremely loyal and feared him. They had faith that something good would happen. The writing and dialogue showed these perspectives clearly.
The animation was very crime show-like. Quite dull and sharp. The facial expressions of disgust and fear were used often. All the characters looked in place. Repetition of scenes was used through the end of Monster. The clothes they wore were plain and Mainland Europe like. I think this could have been a live-action show, instead of animated.
The most important characters are Tenma, Johan and Anna Liebert and Mr Lunge. Tenma was a determined introvert, who radiated positive energy. He had a good impression on everyone he met. As the main character, he was fantastic. Johan was a distraught young person that was extremely charismatic and extremely sadistic. He was in control of his fate and of others. Anna was Johan's twin sister and they had a lot of experiences together. Anna was often used to find out more about Johan and to see inside his head and because of this, Johan often overshadowed her. Mr Lunge was the police officer of the BKA that investigated the crimes related to Tenma and Johan. He has an extremely poor work-life balance and a calm demeanour.
I watched the Dub and I thought the voice acting was ok. Some of the voice acting was monotonous and flat. When they felt strong emotions, it felt like the voice actors were straining themselves. The OP was very boring and I skipped it, most of the time. The ED was worse and I wish more effort had been put into them. The soundtrack was pretty average.
Finally, I thought Monster was a pretty good anime that was drawn out too much. I am glad I watched it and I would recommend this to someone interested in Psychological Crime shows and for those that are interested in good anime.

*may include spoilers
Parasyte is an horror, action anime and is animated by Madhouse. It is based off of the popular manga series, which is about a 17 year old being infected with a parasite.
The plot is quite dark. It is not scary but has some gore in it. The pacing was fine in the whole show, and it was serialised. The story was quite slow paced. Parasyte often reflected on what it means to be human, which is not that unique but they did it well.
The animation was great. It wasn't to shiny and bright, and it wasn't too dark. It had a dull, realistic
...
look, which I loved. The character designs were great, but the main characters looked quite small for 17 year olds. Other then that, each of the character designs fitted the characters. The action scenes were very fast and looked beautiful.
The characters were well written. Shinichi Izumi was the main character. He had a lot of character development and changed a lot. He was compassionate and likable. Satomi Murano was his best friend/girlfriend. She was kind of annoying and it seemed she was there just so the main character could have a love interest. All she did was notice that he was changing and get saved by him and that pretty much sums up her character. Migi, the parasite that infects Shinichi's right hand was very entertaining. He changed in the show, to act more like Shinichi and I found the way he pronounced Shinichi's name amusing. I always love a character who's is serious, nearly all of the time and intelligent. The rest of the characters were well written and a lot of them die but most of their deaths don't effect me that much.
I watched the Sub. The voice acting is great. Migi's voice was my favourite as it sounded kind of cold and fitted his personality well.
I hated the OP. Its one of my least favourite that I've listened to. It sounds like a terrible knockoff of Hunter X Hunter's first ED and the auto tune hurts my ears. The Ending is a boring, slow song that are very commonly used by a lot of anime, for their ED.
In conclusion, this is one of the best anime I've watched. It was very entertaining, had brilliant fight scenes, had great animation and I enjoyed it a lot.

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou is about an android living in a post apocalyptic world. It was published in 1994 to 2006 and the author is Hitoshi Ashinano.
The story has odd pacing and its feels slower than then the time that has passed. There are some time lapses in the manga. It also has quite short chapters. The rules of androids were simplistic. In general, the manga was calm and there wasn't much conflict in it. The characters were well written and the main character, Alpha was very likeable and interesting. There was also plenty of character development.
The art in Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou is amazing. All
...
the character designs are great. I liked that there wasn't a lot of details added to the background and character design to keep it looking simplistic. The also characters looked very fluid. I appreciated that some chapters were coloured in and some weren't so you could look at the art in different perspectives.
In conclusion, it's a very good manga that I will definitely reread in the future.

Golden Boy is a 6 episode ecchi, comedy anime. It is about an intelligent 25 year old man who goes from job to job.
The story was episodic and in each episode he finds a new job. The pacing of the OVA was perfect and had no problems. The show was really entertaining and I enjoyed it a lot. The anime is an ecchi so if had some 'ecchi moments' which I would prefer weren't in the series but it is what it is. The characters in the anime were great. The main character Kintaro was very likable and entertaining. He was also very smart. Each
...
episode is basically about him and an 'attractive' Girl and his job.
The art style was very good. Kintaro showed a range of different facial expressions. The others character designs were very good as well. I watched the Sub and the voice acting was great. The OP and ED were not too good and were quite simple.
In conclusion, I would recommend this anime to someone looking for an good ecchi, comedy with likable characters.

Inferno Cop is an action anime and it's animated by Trigger.
Inferno Cop is a serialized show where Inferno Cop gets into a lot of capers. He has to preserver through any challenge he is given. The animation is bad and very low effort and most of it is just still images moving around. The voice acting is not too bad but the female voices are terrible. It doesn't have an OP, only an ED and its good.
I have to have a longer review so You should watch this if you are really bored and need some mindless entertainment.
