Both manga is created by Yabuki Kentarou, and judging from the art, you don't get nothing less! The storyline also involved ecchi, romance, harem and comedy. except for "normal" people in it. read it if you want to know how similar this is!~
reportRecommended by leveia
Both main characters have very bad luck and his life is changed because of an alien girl (not to mention the ecchi very similar)
reportRecommended by Luffy22194
Another story where numerous female characters arrive out of the blue and form a relationship with the protagonist who already has a girl in mind. If you like one, you'll like the other. P.S Nisekoi has a somewhat clearer and more developed plot.
reportRecommended by Shirayuki76
Both MC get in trouble a lot with the ladies by a lot of mishap on falling on them and disrobing them by accident both are fun to read and I recommend both if your into harem scenarios

Two stories where the main character is a total failure with chics and suddenly he got the most beautiful girls behind him and can't decide for one of them. Both has a good sense of humor and moments where accidentally the main character gets involved with the girls in embarrasing/sexualy situations.

Both of this manga's are about a boy who is meets a beautiful girl, and thus dragging even more girls to him like a magnet! The fact is that in To-LOVE-Ru, the leading character is different, but with time he does change just like Tskune. He becomes a man who can stand up for himself and for the sake of others as well.

They share the same type of main character: a shy, wimp male protagonist surrounded by beautiful girls, often victim of misunderstandings and thus beaten up after involuntary embarassing situations. Eventually, he also starts to get the affection of those girls thanks to his kindness and goodwill. Besides, he is irresolute with his feelings in love triangles, a situation that easily leads to comedy and funny situations in both mangas. The main differences are that To LOVE-Ru is also heavy ecchi, with a lot of nudes and fanservice, as well as full harem without settling relationships, while Love Hina quickly develops into a romantic triangle.
reportRecommended by Connacht
Basically, they share the same basic narrative components and tropes: first of all the alien girl with magic-like powers who falls in love with the main character in chapter 1; similar supernatural or science fantasy comedic situations; bizarre adventures; silly inventions; funny aliens; stereotypical characters whose caricatural traits are played straight for fun (like the rich and conceited classmate, or the strange headmaster). It's almost the same story and sometimes the script is so blatant that you could say that there is plagiarism. Still, there are some differences in the end. The first difference you will notice is that To LOVE-Ru is much much more  read more

Both of these manga have a similar feel to their main protagonist. they are clumsy and perverted but caring and open hearted. in TLRu there are aliens and in In Bura there are monsters.
reportRecommended by danm
This manga doesn't have an alien girl force herself upon the main male character. However, she is an alien that is very obviously one and has many gadgets which inconvenience the main character all of the time. In addition, she almost immediately ends up with the main character and they begin their lives as a couple without the element of harem/love triangle in the beginning.

To Love-Ru and Jitsu wa Watashi wa feature a colorful cast of female characters each with their own distinctive personalities. Among them, some are not from Earth and display supernatural traits. Both series' main male protagonist has a similar personality with their kind nature. This attracts other girls' attention as they see him as someone they can rely on and be friends with. Both series adapts romance with a large amount of comedy. Both series does have a plot although it sometimes structures itself with standalone chapters about daily events.

- lots of ecchi scenes - both are harem - both are students
reportRecommended by keygen
Both involve 1 boy and several beautiful girls. Tomoki is like Rito in their way of not wanting to get involved but turns responsible when needed. While the girls in both manga are new to human emotion which adds to the fun. Plenty of fan service and characters turn loli during comical events.
reportRecommended by fkkmylife
As the story progresses Ane Doki! really feels like a replacement for To-LOVE-ru... Although the premises of the stories are different, both Male protagonist live alone with no parents and both Lead girls are smokin' hot... Both have nice ecchi moments, and both have school life elements
reportRecommended by rebwaters
Both series encapsulate both the sci-fi, ecchi, and romance genres. In fact, Rurru is essentially Lala. They are both geniuses when it comes to sci-fi instruments and their place in the story of their respective series is highly similar.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
The main males character look very alike and the character designs feels very similar as well.

They are two of the biggest harems you will find. The strong point of both mangas are female characters. They cover all the spectrum of personalities, they have an unique design for each one and all of them are charming.
reportRecommended by BlindNoldor
Your average ecchi harem school life manga, well-made story, great character design, huge variety of girls, mc being the gigachad. However, rather than a delightful and charming atmostphere, Abnormal_kei Joshi gives us a mysterious vibe with disturbing circumstances, misperceptions along within the plot. As the girls really are, "Abnormal"......
reportRecommended by Yotsugii
Ok both are similar in the fact that they are both the harem/ecchi comedy manga. The only difference is that Rito is innocent and gets into ecchi situations by mistake and is misunderstood, while Yoshitaka purposely tries to make those scenes and gets punish for it. Both have humor and the jokes are funny in both.

Romantic comedies with aliens. Similar comedy situations with sci-fi elements. One is a shounen the other is a shoujo.
reportRecommended by BlindNoldor
Sci-fi harem with the typical ridiculous but hilarious situations, both with pretty explicit situations for a shounen manga.
reportRecommended by BlindNoldor
The situation where a girl enter in the bed of the guy and gets yelled for it is used several times.
reportRecommended by BlindNoldor
Both contains borderline ecchi and topless nude girls (without genitalia). Both are comedy in nature.
reportRecommended by ExplodingGirl
Did you know that To Love-Ru's creators were big Dragon Ball fans and took a lot of inspiration from there too? Devilukeans are like Saiyans and Lala herself is a lot like Goku (she even dresses up like him one time). They are just lovable idiots who often change the characters' lives.
reportRecommended by OnyxSaiyan
The things that Tonari no Uchuujin doesn’t have in common with To Love-Ru will make a shorter list than the things that are. Main girl is Yandere No Ecchi scenes (as of this review) If you need to fill the void that To Love-Ru left Tonari no Uchuujin is made just for that.
reportRecommended by Nattcheppscott
Weird sci-fi inventions in Doraemon's way that always ends up in a pervert situation.

Kimi no iru machi is about a girl from tokyo moving into a village and live with the main character, throughout the story, the main character starts to have a feeling for her. The story is like a love triangle where the mc only has interest in another woman. The similarities between these two are that they have 2 opposite gender having an enrequited love until the main heroine shows up. To Love Ru is a more lighter and revolves around harem and ecchi genre, while Kimi no iru machi is a more heavy drama and focused to romance. The characters in these 2 shows are really  read more

The two are extremely hilarious, but Countrouble has far less ecchi. The protagonist is basically screwed over time and time again in his quest for romance.
reportRecommended by armani661
Both funny with a touch of action, Mx0 more so than To-LOVE-Ru however. IF you are interested in fanservice, there is plenty but its not very good so if you were looking for fanservice mangas, chose one with a worse plotline.
reportRecommended by gengduck
Similar stories and art, both revolve around a boy coming into contact with a strange girl, and the relationship that comes aout as a result of the meeting.
reportRecommended by renjikuchiki1
The characters may look loli, but it's ecchi and funny to some degree.
reportRecommended by Misa_Kakizaki
They bote are very simulair, bote having allot eicchi in it and bote are supernatural and having allot comedy in it, also a little love comes out of them, so if you like the first one you also like the other one
reportRecommended by Lyfa
Despite having very different aesthetics, both titles revolve around a male protagonist and his sudden encounter with a female alien. In both, the female alien begins living with the male protagonist which causes a multitude of misunderstandings. Moreover, both titles do not shy away from the use of alien devices.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
Many shared tropes, particularly the involuntary tendency of the male protagonist to become the love interest of many girls and his shyness, some stereotypical characters, but also the supernatural adventures and the strange competitions and situations inside the school. However, Ranma 1/2 lacks the high level of ecchi fanservice that To LOVE-Ru has and the male protagonist is not as skilled as Ranma.
reportRecommended by Connacht
Both series start off very similarly in that a misunderstanding between the male protagonist and the girl he likes arises when a female interjects herself into his life.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
I think 4 out of every 5 people who read TLR read it for the fanservice and comedy. Ashita no Yoichi provides all that along with some character development.
reportRecommended by Misa_Kakizaki
The protagonists are pretty ordinary guys, a little on the unlucky side, and then a beautiful, mysterious girl barges in on their lives and homes and claims to be their wife. Both Lala and Kyouka are very mischievous and ditsy at times, but are also devoted to Rito/Ousuke. Rito and Ousuke, because of their misfortune, often to get into some humorous misunderstood situations.
reportRecommended by furizaa
The main characters are very similar. They both are shy around females, but when forced to they protects the ones they care about. Both manga also are school comedies, however To-LOVE-Ru is more ecchi and Reborn has more fighting in it.
reportRecommended by Hemsko
Both involve a guy suddenly meeting a high-tech girl, that they didn't expect they would meet. Both are related to sci-fi and romance.
reportRecommended by Catsup
The protagonist Rito has a difficulty on confessing his love to Haruna, a schoolmate and a classmate. while in the process and ready to confess, an alien appeared in front of him and mistook the confession that meant to Haruna. The alien protagonist of the story is a Devilukean princess of a wide galaxy name Lala. Developing a harem and a romance comedy with a tsundre, who would end up marring Rito?
reportRecommended by nferocious76
Since these two manga are written and drawn by the same person, it's natural that they would be similar. They both feature girls with extraordinary powers, an interesting plot, some humor, and a healthy surplus of fanservice. If you liked Futagami Double, you'll definitely like To-Love-Ru!
reportRecommended by MightyDrill
if you like the way negi accidently gets the girls naked and the way they act to him then you will like to love ru the only diffrence is to love ru doesnt have magical creactures but alliens and doesnt have alot of fighting
reportRecommended by dragonman
They both have the same style. Both have a main character that is a princess. The only difference is that one has an alien theme while the other is demons and angels.
reportRecommended by P_D_S
main girls in both are aliens and have pink hair. plus both are harems. if you liked Girls Bravo, give to-LOVE-ru a shot
reportRecommended by AhTreyYou
Both are sci-fi, romance, comedies that take place in high school and have a guy who is chosen to be a king of a distant land. In to-love-ru's case it was the universe in Shuffle!'s case it is the demon or god world. Follow a somewhat similar plot.
