The second part of Kuroko Kareshi series is focused predominantly on deepening the relationship between two main characters Shingo and Kagami. Sure, they still are very new to this area, but they try - although each of them is looking at their relationship differently.
The story itself my not be breathtaking, but the art has definitely improved even more and its very pleasurable. The characters still seems a bit flat (my opinion) so I hope this will change in further story continuation. I would say that this part is quite similar to the first one.
