It's written by the same author: Watashi ni xx Shinasai is about a girl who has been cut from social contact from her peers, resulting in the fact that she knows no social skills. She is writing a novel, but her readers are desiring their to be more love instead of always friendship. The male lead is the most popular boy in the class, but he is actually quite unkind and a complete liar. The story is basically about how she blackmails him, after finding out his terrible secret, so that she can learn more about friendship and love. "Koko Ni Iru Yo" is a contrasting story,  read more

both are about young writers trying to experience love. they also both end up using the "popular boy" in their school as their partner in doing this

Very similar, two siblings loving the same girl, the girl happens to lack friends, girl hides that she's writing a novel, and both pretty darn good! However, Watashi ni xx Shinasai! focused a lot more on the novel aspect whereas in Taiyou no Ie the focus is nowhere near as much. Personally, I love both the same but I'd definitely suggest giving Watashi ni xx Shinasai! a read!

Stories about girls who find out the secret of the most popular guy in school, at the same time as they share their experiences with them in the internet as fantasy stories.
reportRecommended by Liinah
Both heroines make a practice of secretly observing other people and pride themselves on their ability to remain detached in those observations. However watashi ni xx shinasai has a plot that focuses more on love while Warau Kanokosama is like a series of short stories all with the same heroine.

Girls find out a boy's secret and force them into a relationship, having different reasons for it. Slowly they have to deal with their feelings questioning themselves whether everything was just fake or not.
reportRecommended by Liinah
Both series has a shoujo and experimental feel as the main female protagonist experiences with romance. Throughout the story, they associate with boys that tests their capability of building a connection with them. And while their premises aren't the same or for a similar purpose, they do learn quite a bit and slowly builds confidence. Both series also has lighthearted comedy with the usual classic shoujo tropes.

Girls writing stories and hiding their true identity + romance. R-18 has adult content.

Although Uwasa no midori kun is much more mature, both are wonderful stories with comedy, romance and a awesome love triangle.
reportRecommended by Orulyon
Watashi ni xx shinasai has very similar story to L-DK. It's also about women, who doesn't know what love is, and prince of school, who can have every girl he wants, and ( if I can say that ) desteny wants them to be together. Well, in both manga there is a third person who also is in love with the main girl character, so it's not so sure, how will it ends up.
reportRecommended by Shadake
The guy is first to fallen in love with the main femile character - so he try to make her feel the same. The girls is confident but at the same time shy and don't know how to behave in the relationship. The main goal is to found out what love is.
reportRecommended by Shadake
Both manga have the typical love triangle between two guys and one girl, but with different twists. The heroine has a difficult time choosing between the guys, although it may sometimes be obvious who she really likes

Both anime involve intense love triangles between two high school boys and a girl. Watashi ni xx Shinasai is a bit more straightforward, while Stardust Wink is a bit more dramatic, both are suspenseful, as well as predictable and cliched in some parts.
reportRecommended by angelabsun
Both female leads are online novelists, and in order to become better they take lessons in love to be able to improve their skills

Both shoujo related series that sparks romance and interest for fans of the genre alike. Similarity includes hot guys that has the school's attention while the main girl struggles with her own feelings throughout each chapter. Misunderstandings and drama are imminent.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Both are shoujo and both female characters have a complex about their way their eyes are shaped, which can lead to them being misunderstood
reportRecommended by XDKeriDX
Both are Shoujo and School Life where the girls, because of their attitudes are hated by everyone at school. Both girls fall for the cute guy at school.

The protagonist is a girl and does not know who to choose. one is a childhoodfriend/cousin and the other is a guy she just met.

Both a romantic comedies that have a girl who doesn't know what love is..or to be more exact, can't tell when they guy is obviously in love with the girl. They have different plots but when I read them, I found them to be pretty similar. The guy also likes to tease the girl :)

Literally domestic na kanojo genderbend. And shorter.

1. The ability to hook. 2. Character development 3. Love (Pure love) 4. Childhood friend love, however that is not the main protagonists love interest. 5. Enjoyment (of course!) Looking back, and directly at the two mangas, it's apparent that they're nothing alike. However, both are great to follow and allow you to watch your main protagonist learn about love, and about relationships. You get to see their personal struggles, and develop over time. Watashitachi ni wa Kabe ga Aru, features a young girl who confuses what love is. She manipulates this cold boy, to help her experience love for her phone novel series. There's a love  read more

High school - time to find what love is! Expect simple plot, but lots of romantic stuff.

Similar Art Both main heroines have something they're trying to conceal. However, the status difference between them are different. The main male character in watanuki-san ni wa boku ga tarinai is, in a way, like the 3 main male characters in watashi ni xx shinasai mixed as one. (Hisame's Personality, Shigure's Status and Akira's Appearance in a way) In watashi ni xx shinasai the main female character is the one to blackmail the main male character where as in watanuki-san ni wa boku wa tarinai it is set vice-versa. watanuki-san ni wa boku wa tarinai gives off the same spicy feeling as watashi-xx shinasai. -This recommendation was based after reading: 01  read more

In both mangas, a popular boy falls for a not so popular girl that has famous/infamous for something (in Pochama ni it's for her chubbiness, and in Watashi ni xx Shinasai it's the fact she's somewhat of an ice queen). In each manga they do form to be a couple at one point, and are quite intimate with each other and have lots of body contact (not sexual though). Both mangas do have their similarities, as Pochama ni focuses on the relationship between the chubby and popular guy, whereas Watashi ni xx no Shinasai is much more complex and complicated as there are much more  read more

A girl who doesn't really care about much social interaction, and a love triangle. The males involved in Watashi ni xx Shinasai have different personalities from the ones in Ouji ka Prince, but both stories are still really good. I believe that if you enjoyed one, then you would enjoy the other.

Both heroine published their artwork online and looking for ideas based on the reality of their experience

- Talented yet unsociable heroine. - Heroine lacks experience of real life. - They decided to gather more material with mc as their love interest subject.

Both are about love missions and are extremely funny.

Both girls are looked down on by people. And they both stand up for themselves when they have to. theyr not like those girls who depend on others, and they're both smart. They are also both love tri-angles with one being family(kind of) and of the guys are popular among the girls.

In both stories male characters keep their true selves from the whole class (though in different ways). Female characters expose their secrets and start blackmailing them. After being threatened to be revealed to the classmates, the boys have no choice but to obey... By the way the female characters look very much alike)
reportRecommended by tankins
Both have protagonists that are socially inept/stunted, developing love relationships with more socially/romantically experienced guys that are popular at school. Although Watashi ni XX Shinasai's protagonist is slightly less innocent compared with Kimi ni Todoke's Sawako, both are extremely pure romantically and socially. The theme of both mangas could easily be summarized as "learning to fall in love"
reportRecommended by tealeafkitty
Characters pretending to be in a relationship to fulfill their wishes. Some to experience new things and others just for their own pleasure. They are both a mix of drama with romance.

both have an "ice queen" as a main character and both have 2 people competing for the main character's love

Apart from the beautiful art, both our main heroines fall in love under 'special circumstances'. The story goes on to unveil hidden secrets to unlock the emotions our heroines are trying to hide.
reportRecommended by cherichelly
Both have a strong girl being bullied by the main guy, who uses his high popularity to influence others into harming her. Only when she proves those tricks ineffective does he begin to see her in a different light. (It's actually a bit different for Watashi, where the relationship does not start out this way but emerges as part of the story development) For recommendations, not much can be said. Watashi is still too early to tell, but shows wonderful art and story so far; Hana Yori Dango is just full of drama, going along a great story; Both feature love triangles (between the two main  read more

Both have a girl that writes stories, whether is manga or romance novels. In both the girl uses other people to help her experience new things.

They are both romances starring girls with sharp, glaring eyes that cause them to be misunderstood.

Both the guy protagonist plans to seduce the girl protagonist but ended up falling deeply in love.
reportRecommended by XxshizxX
Both series involve female protagonists who start off the relationship with some kind of subterfuge. In Ookami's case, the guy involved is immediately in on what it is while in Watashi he is not in the know from the start. Both the the guys are popular with the girls but keep up a facade when really what they are like is nearly the opposite of that nice persona they project. Then there's the male rival who is the shy type of character.

The first story is about a mangaka highschooler trying to keep her secret. Its cute and she ends up in love. Also contains three other short stories that arnt really anything like this one but they are all romance.

The moment, I read Hatsukoi Wazurai, Watashi ni xx Shinasai popped into my head. Both heroines learn about love. While Yukina learns it for the sake of her stories, Hotaru genuinely wants to learn in order to "change." In both cases, the heroines learn through experience with a popular student. Eventually, the heroes of these tales both fall in love with the heroines. There's a huge significance to the pacing of the story. Watashi ni xx Shinasai can be dragging with how it's carried out, but each chapter provides at least one deep, meaningful lesson (plus the drawing is amazing!) and I guarantee that it  read more

The male leads both tease/are 'mean' to the girl from time to time but then also become extremely sweet at times :P

By the same author. Both stories are interesting and have a unique spin on quite over-used ideas. Watashi is further along in terms of story but Kamikami has a lot of potential and hopefully turns out just as good. Both have really nice art with the girls being cute, good looking and the boys being very hot XD
