Watashi ni xx Shinasai is about a girl who has been cut from social contact from her peers, resulting in the fact that she knows no social skills. She is writing a novel, but her readers are desiring their to be more love instead of always friendship. The male lead is the most popular boy in the class, but he is actually quite unkind and a complete liar. The story is basically about how she blackmails him, after finding out his terrible secret, so that she can learn more about friendship and love.

"Koko Ni Iru Yo" is a contrasting story, but it has many similar characteristics, such as artwork, and the pure serenity that is not found in many manga's. Although, Watashi Ni xx Shinasai is more bold, whereas Koko ni Iru Yo is a cute manga.

"Koko ni Iru Yo" is also about a loner girl, though it's because she has no presence. Her classmates, who have been with her for years, don't even know her name, if they even know her at all. I's a story about how the two friendliest boys in her class slowly get her to be more outgoing. Also, she writes in an online blog, similar to the novel in Watashi Ni XX Shinasai. read more

Taiyou no Ie addpermalink

Very similar, two siblings loving the same girl, the girl happens to lack friends, girl hides that she's writing a novel, and both pretty darn good! 

However, Watashi ni xx Shinasai! focused a lot more on the novel aspect whereas in Taiyou no Ie the focus is nowhere near as much. Personally, I love both the same but I'd definitely suggest giving Watashi ni xx Shinasai! a read!

Both series has a shoujo and experimental feel as the main female protagonist experiences with romance. Throughout the story, they associate with boys that tests their capability of building a connection with them. And while their premises aren't the same or for a similar purpose, they do learn quite a bit and slowly builds confidence. Both series also has lighthearted comedy with the usual classic shoujo tropes.

Watashi ni xx shinasai has very similar story to L-DK. It's also about women, who doesn't know what love is, and prince of school, who can have every girl he wants, and ( if I can say that ) desteny wants them to be together. Well, in both manga there is a third person who also is in love with the main girl character, so it's not so sure, how will it ends up.

4. Childhood friend love, however that is not the main protagonists love interest. 
5. Enjoyment (of course!)
Looking back, and directly at the two mangas, it's apparent that they're nothing alike. However, both are great to follow and allow you to watch your main protagonist learn about love, and about relationships. You get to see their personal struggles, and develop over time. Watashitachi ni wa Kabe ga Aru, features a young girl who confuses what love is. She manipulates this cold boy, to help her experience love for her phone novel series. There's a love triangle, that eventually is sorted out. Luckily this manga isn't about their love triangle, but is about the overall development of the protagonist and continues farther than the triangle. Each character has something to overcome. This isn't a typical shoujo, though at first glance you might think that. There comes a point though, once you sit in for the ride even more, those little nicks and knacks you see in the female protagonists ideas, are corrected by the author. 

What is similar is that this is indeed a love story, but unlike Watashitachi ni wa Kabe, Watashi ni xx Shinasai focuses on a few characters internal struggles (while still giving the protagonist her light.) They're both enjoyable reads. It's also farther into the series, and requires a bit of dedication to get the upmost enjoyment out of this, because the protagonist spends a great deal of time figuring out what love is.

Both main heroines have something they're trying to conceal. However, the status difference between them are different.

The main male character in watanuki-san ni wa boku ga tarinai is, in a way, like the 3 main male characters in watashi ni xx shinasai mixed as one. (Hisame's Personality, Shigure's Status and Akira's Appearance in a way)

In watashi ni xx shinasai the main female character is the one to blackmail the main male character where as in watanuki-san ni wa boku wa tarinai it is set vice-versa.

watanuki-san ni wa boku wa tarinai gives off the same spicy feeling as watashi-xx shinasai.

In both mangas, a popular boy falls for a not so popular girl that has famous/infamous for something (in Pochama ni it's for her chubbiness, and in Watashi ni xx Shinasai it's the fact she's somewhat of an ice queen). In each manga they do form to be a couple at one point, and are quite intimate with each other and have lots of body contact (not sexual though). Both mangas do have their similarities, as Pochama ni focuses on the relationship between the chubby and popular guy, whereas Watashi ni xx no Shinasai is much more complex and complicated as there are much more characters are involved and there is a massive love pentagon (or something like that).  read more

A girl who doesn't really care about much social interaction, and a love triangle. The males involved in Watashi ni xx Shinasai have different personalities from the ones in Ouji ka Prince, but both stories are still really good. 
I believe that if you enjoyed one, then you would enjoy the other.

Both have protagonists that are socially inept/stunted, developing love relationships with more socially/romantically experienced guys that are popular at school. 

 Although Watashi ni XX Shinasai's protagonist is slightly less innocent compared with Kimi ni Todoke's Sawako, both are extremely pure romantically and socially.  The theme of both mangas could easily be summarized as "learning to fall in love"

Both have a strong girl being bullied by the main guy, who uses his high popularity to influence others into harming her. Only when she proves those tricks ineffective does he begin to see her in a different light. (It's actually a bit different for Watashi, where the relationship does not start out this way but emerges as part of the story development)

For recommendations, not much can be said. Watashi is still too early to tell, but shows wonderful art and story so far; Hana Yori Dango is just full of drama, going along a great story; Both feature love triangles (between the two main guys and the girl). HYD is a longg read, whereas Watashi is still new/ongoing - but my recom. goes towards the beginning psychology of the main guy onto the main girl. read more

Both series involve female protagonists who start off the relationship with some kind of subterfuge. In Ookami's case, the guy involved is immediately in on what it is while in Watashi he is not in the know from the start. Both the the guys are popular with the girls but keep up a facade when really what they are like is nearly the opposite of that nice persona they project. Then there's the male rival who is the shy type of character.

Hatsukoi Wazurai addpermalink

The moment, I read Hatsukoi Wazurai, Watashi ni xx Shinasai popped into my head. Both heroines learn about love. While Yukina learns it for the sake of her stories, Hotaru genuinely wants to learn in order to "change." In both cases, the heroines learn through experience with a popular student. Eventually, the  heroes of these tales both fall in love with the heroines.

There's a huge significance to the pacing of the story. Watashi ni xx Shinasai can be dragging with how it's carried out, but each chapter provides at least one deep, meaningful lesson (plus the drawing is amazing!) and I guarantee that it will leave you wanting for more. Whereas Hatsukoi Wazurai is up-beat the moment you read the story. In just the first chapter, you can already see a relationship blooming between the protagonists.

Watashi ni xx Shinasai takes a dark turn after reading the first 10 chapters of the story. It gets pretty intense, once you're engrossed with the story. All the more, it makes the story interesting and unique. It's one of the best mangas to portray the meaning of "love" in multiple aspects. 

So if you enjoyed reading Hatsukoi Wazurai, then you will definitely love Watashi ni xx Shinasai. read more

By the same author. Both stories are interesting and have a unique spin on quite over-used ideas. Watashi is further along in terms of story but Kamikami has a lot of potential and hopefully turns out just as good.
