Preliminary Spoiler

Preliminary (2/? chp)
What I found kinda special in this manga is that the three girls are actually pretty pious as priestesses, in contrast with the atheist MC. We don't really see spirituality and religion being treated seriously in media and art anymore. And here we suddenly have three teenage girls in 2021 Japan being all about their Shinto religion. I find it VERY intriguing and really can't wait to see more of this theme.

I mean, there's so much they can do with it. Faith crisis? Existential questions of being? Cruelty of the gods? Fascinating stuff, really. If only the writer will have the courage to touch.

This manga ...

An actual decent enough harem manga with only 3 heroines, great art and something that's made by a former assistant of Haruba Negi, creator of The Quintessential Quintuplets? Seems interesting enough, but is it really worth the read? Quick answer; pretty much, yeah.

Matchmaking of the Amagami Household is a harem manga series made by Naitou Marcey. While this being his first ever independent work, for now, things are looking quite good for it. As I said earlier, Naitou Marcey was a former assistant of Haruba Negi, so you can definitely expect some Gotoubun vibes in this, although the setting for this manga is quite ...

Here's my review.

1. Is it a generic harem manga? => Maybe. But not like generic means it can't be a good read.

2. Are the characters generic? => On the surface, yes. But I found their characteristics quite unique.

3. How is the story? => Good. First 5 chapters focused on the plot and main characters. But things took a turn on the end of chapter 5. Things might get interesting.

4. And art? => Also good. I think some dynamic poses to be a little stiff(just my opinion). But the main poses are super good.

5. So what about the MC? => Better than most harem mc I'd ...

This has a extremely similar art to quintessential quintuplets and vibe. Very generic girls and situation so far, hasn't done anything bad per say as of the time of writing this but its just....fine for now, I see others rating this a 10 which I find hilarious but I guess everyone really does have different taste eh. The girls have very generic archetypes but will most likely be more fleshed out as the story progressing but you have bog standard tsundere, big tit air head and one that has a bit more character I guess she is what you call an imouto or something like ...

Warning: May contain light spoilers for the first chapter. Nut free, however.

This is my review for the beginning of the manga. It is not intended to be a full overview of the story, but instead a focus on what someone knew to the series will experience.

Enjoyment: 4
The beginning is incredibly generic, although the setting seems to at first have some potential. An atheistic, knowledge driven student staying in a shrine? Lots of room for comedic moments as well as self discovery and introspection.
...Except the entire first chapter is fan service. They throw away the MC's characterisation at a whim, with no real buildup or payoff ...

With how the story is going right now at 2 chapters, I could say it has a very good potential to be a great manga in the future. The artstyle is nice, and the heroines are likeable in their own way depending on your type of person that you want. It revolves around our MC who is homeless because he lost his parents at a young age, took in by some relatives until passed on to the shrine master wherein he has to marry one of the three granddaughters to inherit the shrine and his expenses and higher chances of getting to Kyoto University Medicine ...

It lives and dies by its Harem genre and Q Quintuplets influence.

This story is basically Fuutarou Uesugi who’s forced to live with 3 girls. Mature and Flirty, but clumsy younger sister. Super Tsundere try-hard middle sister. Ditzy carefree emotionally solid older sister.

Story is pretty cool with the spiritual/supernatural aspect. There’s some funny scenarios that happen after chapter 6 that are supernatural and breathes some air into the genre.

But the main guy is just a lesser version of Fuutarou and the author REALLY dislikes subtlety in the dialogue. “I understand this is your weakness. But I’ll help you overcome it”. With every girl ...

Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi / Matchmaking of the Amagami Household is the first work done by Naitou Marcey, former assistant to Haruba Negi (of Quintessential Quintuplet fame). After finishing that harem rom-com I was looking for another story that would fill the void where QQ had left. I think I might've found that here.

Matchmaking of the Amagami Household takes many beats from that series and its artwork can be so incredibly similar at times. The story takes place in Kyoto and follows the young man Kamihate Uryuu as he strives to become a medical professional. Early on, he is told to live on his own ...

'Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister' might seem like a generic harem on the surface, with its fairly typical jokes found in other works of its kind, but it gradually becomes a quite enjoyable piece thanks to the attachment to the characters and how much more we discover about them, sometimes in surprising ways. Yes, this manga has its share of supernatural elements, which add to its charm and set it apart, something that previous reviews based on just three chapters obviously won't grasp.

Let's get back to the point; the artwork is splendid, whether it's our Amagami sisters or the landscapes and backgrounds, it ...

Amagami-san is a Harem, Romance , Comedy Manga

MC is a dick and so weak he doesn't have guts
Heroines are plain and have no fu****** brains
The storyline doesn't make any sense at all I'm in chapter 37 and still don't know what the f*** is going on
Annoying retarded psycho lesbian character it's better if she didn't exist
Lack of comedy despite it's a romcom manga
It's a boring horrible manga
The only good here is the art that's it
