The bitter sweetness of unrequited love.
Story is cute/decent. Sisters, one older one younger. Seri, the younger one, loves her best friend, Kou. Kou loves Seri’s older sister. It doesn’t help the situation that the older sister is beautiful and she feels like the ugly duckling.
It’s well written , the worst kind of jealousy is the one you have towards someone you love dearly. You want them to be happy but at the cost of your happiness?
Seri’s character is one any one of us can easily relate to, we have all at one point wanted someone or something that we couldn’t have. Or
...
in this case, wanted someone else.
What I found really accurate in the manga was the actions the characters take. Mainly the hurt. Seri was hurt constantly by random acts of casualness that the other person didn’t think much of. Everyday things and comments nipped at her. I thought that was very human.
It’s basically a short glimpse at love and how you can’t pick and choose who you fall in love with. And that even though some loves end, a better one is just around the corner waiting.
The art is basic. There isn’t anything extremely beautiful but there are no major flaws to take from the story.
Overall this one shot but nice read.
