Both have clever stratagems, heroic duels, and young men with a desire to make a name in an ancient China ripped apart by warfare and intrigue. The Ravages of Time is Kingdom but on a vaster scale, and more detailed artwork.

Handicapped warriors is the similar theme here - In both we see a man who was injured in battle strive to overcome that and succeed against the odds by overcoming his own self. However Aegis is modern bodyguard, while Ravages of Time is a historical epic.

Similar historical setting - with lots of battles, martial arts and politics - Sengoku is in the time in Edo period with Odo Nobunaga. The art is quite good and sometimes a bit similar and the portrayal of characters is unusual too showing good and bad aspects of the different warriors and leaders.

While both of these war stories are in different historical time periods with different cultures, countries and weapons, they have certain similarities in political intrigue, battle, planning, and strategy - people trying to outwit their enemies and using underhanded methods to gain the upper hand in politics. Both are set in historical periods and while setting an accurate mood they don't strive for a retelling of history but instead have interesting stories of behind the scenes characters in those periods. Both have characters which could be seen as good or bad depending on how you are looking at them they could be  read more

These manhuas both have excellent art and period martial arts. Blood and Steel has different martial arts clans fighting. Blood and Steel is much newer but it is developing into a first rate martial arts manhwa. Both have awesome art and an interesting cast of characters. Blood and Steel has more martial arts while Ravages of Time has more political intrigue and is a lot, lot longer and more involved, but if you like one please check out the other. The art and stories of both are top tier.

If you enjoy setting in ancient China with lots of political intrique and highly intelligent strategists and military tacticians and lots of political rivalry, these both will satisfy that. Ravages of Time is longer and more complex, with a larger cast but they both have similar themes.

Both are great historical manga and manhua . Bokko is set in Warring states period of China while The Ravages of time is based on epic Chinese novel "Romance of Three kingdom , dealing with Three Kingdoms period of China .

Both are laden with intricate strategies of some sort of combat (chess versus actual war) throughout the entirety of the manga.

Although there is a cultural difference ,between the two, when i first read Worst, i thought of The Ravages of Time (Kingdoms=highschools, Soldiers=delinquents, want to rule China= highschool kids seeking to control the town.) so if u like dynasty warriors, Chinese history worst is the manga for you.

Both are historical mangas covering the aspect of ancient feudal warfare in the Sengoku era of Japan and Three Kingdoms period in China respectively. In Path of the Assassin, ninjas work behind the scenes to carry out political assassinations and sabotage, while in The Ravages of Time, there's a group of mercenary assassins called the Handicapped Warriors doing the dirty work. PotA focuses on the exploits of Tokugawa Ieyasu and Hattori Hanzo exclusively, while TRoT gives a more rounded coverage of the various warring factions. (Please be warned that there are a lot of sexual content in Path of the Assassin.)

Both are based on Chinese history though The Ravages of Time is set in the Three Kingdoms era while The Art of War covers the Spring and Autumn Period. They both depict how the warlords of ancient China wage wars with one another using military strategy and diplomacy.

Both follow the tryst of the chinese Romance of the Three kingdoms; however, while Lord follows Zheng Fe, Lui Bei, and Gaun Yu. Ravages of Time focuses on the perspective from the Sima clan.
