Im not much of a Shounen guy. What caught my attention about this manga is the fact that this is currently the 22th lowest rated manga on MAL. It begged the question: Is it that bad? Well...
If I have to describe My Blood Oath in one word, that would be milquetoast. The characters aren't all that interesting. Their personalities are pretty one note. There also isn't much mystery about the two protagonists to pique the reader's interest since pretty much every bit of information gets told about them in the first chapter. The stories on subsequent chapters mostly boil down to simple 'monster of the

week' episodes with a little worldbuilding here or there. The fights themselves also not too visually stimulating. The art is just okay in general. It introduces some other shallow characters as it goes on but it doesn't matter since it ends after 18 chapters because the whole thing got canned.
So, to answer the question I asked in the first pharagraph. The manga isn't horrible, definetly not 22th worst manga material. However, it still doesn't worth your time since it's still pretty medicore at best, coupled with the fact that it ends so quickly and abruptly.
