Synopsis

After reincarnating in a different world, the great sage Ephthal spent all of his life researching magic. However, he who had aimed to reach the summit of magic, knew of the limits of his talents and fell into despair, thus closing the curtain to his lifetime.

However, 400 years later, he reincarnated for the second time and enrolled in a magic academy using the sorcery and knowledge he acquired from his previous life. As if to sneer at the state of magic that had been in decline for the past 400 years, he easily invokes legendary class magic!

Story and character development is pretty good.

So this story is about a guy who reincarnated into his own blood line 400 year into the future. He was one of the strongest mage to exist but after his reincarnation, he found the world magic have degraded and more over his family member more of less act like assholes.

Initially promising, the manga is revealed to be rattled with plot holes, one-dimensional characters, and annoying cliches. Instead of capitalizing on the somewhat unique and strong foundation and concept at the time, the author follows a basic plot line that has been countless of times, quickly losing the viewer’s retention and attention.

This is the single worst manga I've seen in a long time, if not even ever. It's rich coming from me, who is a big fan of stories with such premise - "Powerful sorcerer reincarnates in the younger body with his powers intact". It's really simple, fun concept, and you can't possibly screw up such a basic story... Or can you?
