Even tho Doubt is a bit more horror-ish, both manga are about a game which includes death. Kinda different, yet similar.
reportRecommended by KtromeX3
-Both protagonists are targeted a lot by others to be taken out -One has people fighting each other to become god while the other has people trying to get their wish to come true and fighting over it later -One has a character with a Yandere girlfriend while the other has a character with a Yandere boyfriend -Arisa gave me the "What if Mirai Nikki was a shoujo manga" vibe

Extremely similar premise (see the other recommendation for more info) and it's about characters going through despair and finding the one they love/care about.

They both go to wacko schools which have some sort of social weirdness going on. The main characters are strong and try to abolish the injustice.

One of the twins tried to kill herself/himself and another's searching for the motive in his/her twin school.
reportRecommended by Crazy_Onigiri
Similarities: ~Both have psychological twisted love stories ~The artwork is somewhat, if not, mostly similar ~There is death in both ~Both have a main guy who helps the heroine Sekai No Hate: ~Main heroine is a bit insecure and tormented by her past ~The romance is a bit quicker to develop ~This manga is more tragic than Arisa Arisa: ~Main heroine is tough, brave, strong, and confident ~Main heroine has a twin ~Has a more psychological plot to it ~Manga has more "danger" scenes attached with the plot ~Has more chapters

Both are shoujo manga which have psychotic characters and group mentality that leads to some really bad occurrences.
reportRecommended by Aina-Chan
Both stories have elements of suspense into them as well as nice character designs and art to look at as well too.
reportRecommended by Disapeared_Ghost
Both have situations that occur during school period! The story it's different from Arisa but has plenty of mystery itself!
reportRecommended by Lena_chan
both are about twins with a broken relationship on one side.
reportRecommended by Raine98765
Similarities: -Twins who have grown apart -One twin starts going to the others school -One twin is hiding their identity -Someone finds out their real identity and becomes their friend -Tsubasa and Noel have similar personalities -Mostly based in schools -Both wear a wig Differences: -ARISA has Girl + Girl twins, and MINT NA BOKURA has Boy + Girl Twins -ARISA is a mystery and psychological manga, and MINT NA BOKURA is a school life and comedy manga -Completly different premise

They're both mystery orientated, though Arisa is more focused on only one big mystery while Iris Zero has little subarcs. And while both have intense, slightly confusing feelings, the reason that causes them is slightly different. The main characters have huge contrasts between them, and yet they're incredibly similar.

Twin sisters who look exactly alike and it's psychological.

both involve twins that swap schools both have romance
reportRecommended by Miki_04
Both stories deal in combating against the bad guys as well as nice art and character designs and a dash of suspense to them.

Both are manga about twins, but in Arisa, the title character goes into a coma after a suicide attempt while the other twin in Partner gets kidnapped by an evil organization to become a guinea pig for their experiments. As you can tell by reading the synopses and genre tags on MAL, they are both shoujo. However, Arisa lays more heavily on mystery while Partner is more of a sci-fi manga.

Both manga involved a class full of mysteries and they're both trying to find their 'king.' Lots of plot twists, mysteries, and hints of romance (that doesnt play a big part of the stories, which makes it great).
reportRecommended by inamikan
Both are shoujo mystery themed stories with a ya cast with a female mc as well as nice art and character designs to look at as well too with suspense elements in them.
reportRecommended by Disapeared_Ghost
Though one is shoujo and one is shounen, Arisa and Erased are both mystery thrillers starring school aged kids. Arisa in particular is unusual for definitely being shoujo in that it has shoujo style art, female protagonists, and a focus on two sisters' relationship as siblings, but it has almost no romance to speak of, instead completely focusing on the plot, so I'd recommend it even for those who normally dislike shoujo.

Similarities: ~Both have psychological twisted stories ~Both have a main guy who helps the heroine ~Main character is both harassed Nanairo Kakumei: ~Main heroine is a little weak at start, but become strong later. The character growth is real and nice ~The harassing is limited to "psychological" only ~ Clear on the spot antagonist, but for the quality, it is much better. She a lot more reasonable, you even can love her and find yourself supporting her Arisa: ~Main heroine is tough, brave, strong, and confident from the start ~The harassing is "physical" and "psychological" ~ Mysterious antagonist

Both main characters are female and when they go to a new school they find out schocking things about their school-mates.

we love a mystery/revenge thriller

Similar story in the beginning. In both cases there're twin sisters who were parted for some years swap places, one of them dies and the other decides to live instead the died one. The difference is that in "Arisa" the purpose is to investigate the circumstances of death, while in "Inochi" heroine sacrifise herself to protect her mother. Haven't read the whole "Inochi" thing, but "Arisa" all the way kept the intrigue , the plot is reeealy twisted.
reportRecommended by Utis
The art's are somewhat similar, and also their plot is similar in a way. Arisa's mangaka is the creator of Kitchen Princess. Both manga's talk about a group or thing conspiring against them, that result in troublesome situations, but still has some good romance scenes. Although Arisa has less since it just began, and involves trying to help her twin sister. While the heroine in Max Lovely, finds herself targeted for being extremely popular, by a mysterious cult called group *F*.

Both are about twins who were apparently good friends, but later an event occurs making them grow apart from each other, while both fight desperately for life and the protagonist tries to find out the mystery related to her sister. Both have a touch of supernatural.

Both Caste Heaven and Arisa revolve around a mysterious game the students play at school. The games they play involve a "King". While in Caste Heaven the games decide who will be the King (who will get their every will and command obeyed by everybody), in Arisa there's already a "King" (who grants the winner one wish). The difference in genre is that Caste Heaven is BL while Arisa is shoujo.  read more

-Both deal with the "King's Game" concept. -Both stories deal with a classroom that get a weird text saying they are in a game. -Both have all the students turning against each other in order to not get punished by the "King". -Both have that eerie feel to the stories as you keep reading Only difference is that Ousama Game is shonen and people die if they don't do the command that the "King" tells them to do while in Arisa, if people don't obey the "King's" command, they are just injured badly (so it's more softer than Ousama Game) and plus it's a shojo with a mystery to  read more

Very similar character premises
reportRecommended by Jorgevy
Both main characters are girls and both find something shocking about their new school-mates and how they treat others.
reportRecommended by Magicalduckwitch
The main character goes to a school full of stranges events and mystery. The main character also went to the strange school to find out what happen to their friend/sister.
reportRecommended by ForgedHero
Both have very pretty covers with flowers and also have very pretty girls
reportRecommended by bellerose
While the main plot may seem a lot different, both stories revolve around high school students who are kind of on an adventure to find out their school's deadly secret. On one hand, Enigma is supernatural, Arisa is solely psychological. Both are intense and the final revelation crushes your heart. But both end on a nice note.
