I've always been curious about the "alternate" ways healing magic could be used, but really, some are way too much of a damn meme. Some crap about "Healing the world" as a means to revert time or time travel? That is absolute bullshit, and a huge turn-off. This one, on the other hand, feels like just what I'd imagine as a way to use healing magic for oneself. Feels near perfect in that regard.

It did start off in the more generic aspect, but it sure evolved into its own thing soon. Sure, still got an overpowered protagonist, but the way it is executed here has ... an actual charm to it.
The other Heroes haven't really been given much of a backstory yet, but they still bond well with Usato, and the rest of the cast from the Isekai world is pretty damn well done. The reactions of the people around makes sense, the comedic value feels just done well enough(Although that is a bit subjective and it might already be a tad overdone for some of you), it's sentimental, has beliefs that gel well with how the world works, and how he's perceived...
Overall, a solid read, really.

Eh, it gets by. Feels like a more slow paced manga, but that's why it gets the time to showcase its own unique pros.

Not particularly appealing, but not bad enough to be a turn-off.

All the characters are portrayed as realistically as they possibly can be given this story, and the progression is done well.

Clearly worthy. The transition from a serious, touching moment to something hilarious is always a fun sight.

As an avid isekai Reader, I can say skip this one.

The Theme of the story (using healing magic in offensive ways by instantly healing one self to continue rigorous training/fighting) albeit somewhat interesting in the first few chapters, is just that.... I personally found myself getting bored of this theme very quickly into the story as this is the only driving factor, as the story itself has no new content.

One thing that really bothers me in Anime/Manga is how the author wants us the readers to react or perceive a character by constantly telling us about said characters great characteristics. This manga does this a ... lot. This manga also takes advantage of "oh I'm so afraid of my sensei beating me up so I will fight this impossible battle as it's probably easier then to face the fury of my sensei crap!" Ugh how cliche and simple minded. I don't want to read a manga where the MC only does what he does to avoid the fury of who ever, especially when it's supposed to be a tense moment. It takes away from the severity of the situation.

Another disappointing point with this Manga is the fact that as the reader we can easily decipher which villains are going to have a change of heart. This villain is literally going to destroy the kingdom if he wins the fight! NP, our MC has the only ability to win miraculously even though he's ONLY A HEALER! OMG WHO WOULD HAVE KNOWN! *rolls eyes* OMG WHAT THE VILLAIN NOW IS GOING TO REFORM AND BECOME ONE OF THE CREW!!!! HOW CAN ONE MAN CHANGE THE HEARTS OF EVERYONE!!!!.... (dumb sarcasm)

It's just.... Sooooooo bad!!!!! I don't mind change of heart themes, but if it's done with as little effort as stealing candy from a baby then I just can't get behind it. It's just insulting to us the readers unless you are like 10.

Outside of all that though honestly I've read worse, and as i've mentioned before, this manga does have a somewhat strong begging so for all it's worth I give it a very generous 5. VERY GENEROUS.

The arts is nice, the writing is horrible, our MC is mid, 5 out of 10 wouldn't read again.

Incredibly bland, forgettable Isekai.

Given the first 3 volumes I see little reason to continue reading this. The biggest issue is there needs to be some type of hook to keep you interested which this does not have. It's so casual and generic you can practically predict every line of dialogue. Fight scenes come and go with zero build up or suspense. This is very much a shounen series with mandatory fight action scenes every couple pages and lots of physical humor. The overall story content is as shallow as "maybe the bad guys aren't that bad" and "need to train more." The artwork ... is also very dull and looks identical to the thousands of other LN adaption.
