This was absolutely painful to get through, and probably one of the worst written stories I've read in years. It's boring school drama with boring students acting out every cliche teen struggle that has ever existed. The beginning is a page-for-page copy of Initial D which tells me the author was out of ideas from the very start. MC is a complete jerk and unlikable beyond anything I could imagine. Dude has zero personality other than telling people to shut up and leave him alone. I understand this is his "shell" but it's so over-the-top and extreme I don't know how anyone could take it ... seriously. If you are looking for comedy, there is none. If you are looking for racing action, then it's so few and far between that it's not even worth mentioning. Definitely don't waste your time on this one.

Sadly, this is more romcom than dungeon diver. Had to drop this series around volume 5 it became so silly. From the intro you would think this is a brutal life and death struggle for survival, but nope. In reality this is a ridiculous romcom with fake characters acting like lunatics. It's not a comedy but it's silly enough to pass as one. The story pacing is horrific with nothing of interest happening for entire volumes, and then seemingly out of nowhere a shounen style action scene as if the author knew everyone was falling asleep. The isekai market is so flooded right now I ... would never recommend this.

Another one of these mass-produced dungeon portal comics. Main character is completely unlikable with zero personality. MC is so generic it's not even clear what he's trying to achieve. It's 99% action with practically no story. Why even have dialogue when it's this predictable? These authors forget that you need some kind of buildup or suspense for the action scenes to have any impact. Just throwing random monsters at the MC does nothing to keep the reader interested. There's no exploration. No adventuring. No comedy. No drama. No romance. There are so many better comics in this genre that I certainly wouldn't waste my time ... on this one.

Was excited reading the title thinking this was going to be a city building story, but sadly it's not. The city building is not even 1% of the story, and it feels almost like an after thought. MC builds his harem of demon girls and then he sends them off to battle... There isn't even a good explanation as to why they are fighting. The battles are a convoluted mess with magical coins somehow solving every problem. All the characters are generic. Overall it's very silly, but there isn't actually any comedy in it. Maybe this could have worked if they went all out with ... the craziness, but what we got is way too safe and boring.

Without question, some of the worst animation I've ever seen. I actually burst out laughing at how bad the artwork is. The entire show feels like a low-budget fanart project. 99% of the "animation" is just panning shots. 5 second pan to the left. 10 second pan to the right. Entire fight scenes are just still images with the camera shaking around. They couldn't even be bothered to animate character mouths when they talk. And there is a ton of horrifically bad CGI effects. The effects look like Halloween clipart from Windows 95. Faces are so poorly drawn they might as well be different people ... from scene to scene. This show feels like an inside joke that I obviously don't get.

Zero stakes and zero story. MC doesn't even like playing video games but somehow he's a god from the first chapter without a single struggle. You can't even call this a leveling up story when there's no goal, no rivals, no conflict of any kind. MC acquires a cheat skill by chance and then proceeds to show off his incredible cheat skill to the unlucky players who don't have incredible cheat skills. MC doesn't even seem to care about the game which makes it even more laughable. MC is so boring his special ability is literally sleeping. And it's lazy writing that none of the ... gameplay mechanics are ever explained. MC is killing players left and right and yet no one logs back in to get revenge? It's like everyone is extreme role playing except for the MC.

Bottom of the barrel returner story. I usually enjoy this genre but damn I couldn't even make it through S1. Even as a simple action webtoon it feels dumbed-down compared to others. The dialogue is atrocious with characters acting more like malfunctioning robots than human beings. The character interactions are so bizarre and nonsensical it's hard to take anything in this seriously. The MC is insufferable and acts like a frat house brat instead of a tortured 4,000 year old warrior who just escaped hell. Every scene is just an excuse for the MC to show off his incredible powers and make goofy faces. If ... there is a story here I couldn't care less. Given that a new returner story seems to come out every day, I would say the value of this one is practically zero.

This show did not age well at all. The jokes here are so lame and predictable I hate to even call it a comedy. I don't think there's a single original joke in the entire thing. I only watched this because it was on the recommended tab of Prison School, which is one million times funnier in every conceivable way. Prison School is laugh-out-loud funny while this show is more like a school drama with goofy characters. All the characters are boring. MC overreacts to every situation by making silly faces even when there's no reason to. This might actually be one of the worst ... comedies I've ever seen.

A returner story about nothing. I don't think the author has any clue where the story is going. It's impossible to take anything in this seriously when the plot feels randomly generated. The action scenes are boring because there's no buildup or suspense to anything. MC is a complete mystery. He is somehow the most powerful warrior that has ever existed, but he also likes to beat up random people in alleys for fun. MC wants to live a normal life, but he also uses his super powers on any dude he comes across. MC wants to protect his family, but he also puts his ... family in danger nonstop. Definitely skip this one as there are much better returner stories out there.

Predictable, boring, and cancelled. The way this manga starts out indicates it was supposed to be some kind of epic 100 volume Bleach clone, but apparently that never happened and it was cancelled after only 3 volumes. While there isn't anything offensively wrong with the story, there also isn't anything good about it. It's generally just a school action/drama about catching monsters. Some people want to save the monsters and others don't want to save the monsters...that's it. I think this is one of those instances where cancelling was the right choice as it lacked any type of compelling hook.
