Manga collected in this stack have stories which focus on the struggles of maintaining, repairing, or building family bonds. These relationships should be between the main characters and must be non-romantic in nature.

Series which focus primarily on taking care of infants to pre-teen children will not be included in this stack; please use the Childcare theme to find these stories. However, if the childcare component is only one relationship of multiple in the family, then these manga will also be added here.

Jiro Taniguchi was a Japanese mangaka. He was born in Tottori. His stories deal with universal themes as the beauty of nature, devotion to family, and/or return to childhood.

Jiro Taniguchi gained several prizes for his work. In France he was knighted a Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2011.

Note: Junji Ito's manga published by Pipoca & Nanquim follow the Japanese edition "Masterpiece Collection", which puts the author's main works in order. However, Myanimelist doesn't follow the same order, which makes selecting the correct mangas for the list very confusing. Therefore, only some of Ito's manga are listed, while the rest of the manga, along with other manga that are not available on the MAL website, will be described with the name used in the Masterpiece Collection.

Ephemerality is the quality of existing only briefly.

Mono no aware (物の哀れ),[a] lit. 'the pathos of things', and also translated as 'an empathy toward things', or 'a sensitivity to ephemera', is a Japanese idiom for the awareness of impermanence (無常, mujō), or transience of things, and both a transient gentle sadness (or wistfulness) at their passing as well as a longer, deeper gentle sadness about this state being the reality of life.

"This too shall pass" (Persian: این نیز بگذرد) is a Persian adage translated and used in several languages. It reflects on the temporary nature, or ephemerality, of the human condition — that neither the bad, nor good, moments in life ever indefinitely last. The general sentiment is often expressed in wisdom literature throughout history and across cultures, but the specific phrase seems to have originated in the writings of the medieval Persian Sufi poets.

While these works deal with mature themes and, or aimed at an adult audience, they are told from the perspective of a child.

Just brief, snack-sized manga reads for you to enjoy during your morning coffee, lunch break, or before going to bed. Inspired by the 1-Volume Reading Challenge Stack-series which I find great.

With this one, I will attempt a balanced mix between old and new 1-volume manga. Enjoy!

About family and its ties in different shapes and forms - some wholesome, some tender, some hurtful, some traumatic.

This series of interest stacks is a list of mangas & light novels that have been or are being licensed and published in Argentina. This DOES NOT include imported physicals originally released in other territories. Manhwas are included, however, manga-like releases from outside Asia are not included. Manga missing in MAL will be noted in each stack's description.

The mangas are in alphabetical order according to the title they were published under in Argentina, and not according to their original title. Each modified title is noted under each manga. Most of these can be bought online, although there are discontinued manga which can no longer be found unless bought used.

These interest stacks will be updated regularly and should always be considered to be incomplete. Please, message me if there's any manga missing, and/or if any info is wrong or missing. Due to MAL's 50-items limit on interest stacks, the entire list spans multiple stacks.
