| The original came at a special time when GAINAX was recovering from Evangelion-related exhaustion. FLCL was designed as a 'break' for them, and I doubt they could recreate the same level of charm for the second season. |

| Why would you actually expect it to be any good? It's not like the first season is good. The only reason people recall it is because it had relatively high production values, it and Bebop got massive exposure stateside, and it was made by Gainax. What little value it had has withered away over the years, from the dated soundtrack to the dated NEET-pandering. SO no, I highly doubt it will be any good. |
