| Best episode so far, we got some funny and interesting moment, Athena song was beautiful. The ending was sad, with the anticipation of a future where they will slowly split apart. 5/5 |

| This episode is so touching T_T Although the "time goes by and things will change" theme is often used, I think this anime portrays the message very well. It's nice to see that Akari, Aika, and Alice are like how Alicia, Akira, and Athena were when they were singles. I love Athena's klutziness, she's hilarious! Her voice is really beautiful, and I like how much emotion there is to the song even though it's in a gibberish language. Beautiful episode! |

| Favourite ep of this series. :D Love it when the background music starts to play as Akari runs forward and bid them goodbye. It's as though she knows the day would come where the three of them would be like their seniors where they wouldnt meet up as often anymore.. |

| Feel like I'm taking a step into the past for a moment, since I watched this years ago but... If you were to choose an episode that attempts to embody the entire Aria series into one episode, I would choose Episode 11. This episode has always stuck out in my mind from the moment I first watched it. It's that "I'm gonna someday reach back in time just like they do and then reminisce this precious moment." moment. Then 2 months later I finished Origination and it reminded me of this moment again. This series has always held a certain place in my heart and the only other anime series that has stood up toe to toe with my only other absolute favorite. In the end, it might also explain why I choose to make the Animation my favorite rather than the Origination, besides having what I consider the best OP of the series, Undine. |
| Wow completely blown away by this one. I've been enjoying Aria so far but never have I had that "wow" feeling. This one has it all, great comedy, great atmosphere, great music and above all heartfelt sentiment. It's going to be hard to top this one. Chapeau! |

| Ahh so this episode skipped a year from the last episode huh? At the beginning of the episode Akari said how this was her 2nd winter when last episode she was experiencing her first winter. Anyways, BEST EPISODE YET. I especially love the part where Aria was so fascinated with Athena dropping liquid onto the bunched of straw wrapper...priceless. I hope there are more episodes like this throughout the series (and sequels), the atmosphere was perfect throughout. |

| I agree with several of the other posters that Episode 11 is one of the best of Season 1. The reminiscences of the Prima's taking a break from their busy schedules reminds the juniors that their time of togetherness will someday come to an end. It was nice how emotional Akari was at the end and the city in winter. It really captured the mood for me. |
| Athena laughing made me LMAO. Unnecessary comments aren't allowed. xD Guess history repeats itself, there elders were identical to them and their relationship. Dat bridge-butt. Gondola coming through, too. Athena imitating Alicia. I can't... too hilarous. Athena's song! I am in heaven. Aika's scream tho xD Akari staring at her friends walking away was a really powerful scene. I kept seeing that. God, don't give me feels. I am not good with partings to begin with. Now I am thinking about all dat unnecessary stuff even more. |

| That moment with Akari at the end is still among my favorites in the series. I could feel tears streaming down my face at that part, this episode was complete gold. "Those were good times, as well." I like that bit that Akira, Alice, and Athena said about enjoying both the past and present. It's something that's taken me a long time to realize when I was constantly living in my "glory days." And why did it take me a rewatch to realize how wonderful Athena's personality truly is? I feel ashamed. |

| Aria the Animation is often regarded as the least impressive season of the three, given its role as an introduction to the world and characters of Neo-Venezia. Despite this, episode 11 is easily my favorite episode in the entire series. The revelation regarding the water faeries' past (foreshadowing what is to inevitably come), a full display of Athena's singing, and the poignant bridge scene with a perfectly placed insert song... absolutely sublime. Time and time again this episode leaves me awestruck at its impact, even after numerous rewatches. |

| Possibly the best episode yet. I'd guess the reason why it received almost unanimous praise in this thread is that it delivers the three Fairies' origin story and that the theme of growing apart from friends is very easy to relate to. But it was also wonderfully executed, in a cozy winter holiday setting with a new insert song to boot. Athena finally had more lines. She seems pretty mature, the rare occasions she speaks are always for a good reason as well, and this contrasts with her clumsiness and general awkwardness quite well. |
