| Does anyone know if there's been anything going on at MyAnimeList lately? I lost 400 friends over the night and my profile pictures refuses to show. I tried sending Xinil a message, since 400 friends is a lot to lose. He ignored me. I tried sending another one, ignored again. Way to support your members man! So since the site owner doesn't care about his members. Are there anyone who can tell me WHAT HAPPENED? |

| Yes, a lot has happened and be sure that a lot is still to come. I suggest you go read up in the Announcements sub-forum starting with this thread: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=71583 (it mentions loss of PMs, but friends are also included). You can also check the local support threads for similar issues (since the friends thing was reported as well). You should realize that Xinil has his hands full atm. Think about it. MAL has suffered quite a bit of data loss and he had to do A LOT of repair all of it. That also means that tons of people are messaging him about it on top of the regular stream of questions, requests and other misc stuff. And let's not forget that he has a life aside from managing MAL. Maybe he's behind with replying PMs, but I can also imagine that he's ignoring the PMs that are asking for obvious things.
