| I've only watched some episodes from the 1st season, but this seems fun. Probably watchable too because it's a spinoff and I don't have to worry about spoilers, I think. I can't wait for shounen kids to get mad over their "terrible BONES sequel" and how their "epic" shounen is ruined and full of "moeshit". |

| Was kinda hoping they stick'd to the original Soul Eater character design but I guess the moe design works for what it is. Cute girls doing cute things. |

| can't see what all the fuzz is about. this is a alternative setting!! it has nothing to do with the first series except they're all going to the same school. this donesn't change the original series in any way so theres no use in complaining just cuz he desided to make a new series out of a good concept. my guess is this is going to have the humor the original series didnt have. it's all good. i'm gonna watch it and see if it's worth my time at the very least. alternative setting: Same universe/world/reality/timeline, completely different characters. |

Not really - it leans towards the characters (characters made for this are the mains) being 'too cute' to do anything scary and this is a lay back mellow drama with a hint of comedy, the art generally isn't on par with the original either and so far, no serious storylines. A lot of girly talk about how cute another girl is whilst they generally act shy, dressing up seems to be popular. A few cameo's from a SE known character (which I like, also, it's set before the original - the baddies aren't even baddies yet) and the occassional background info' that was a mystery in the original - which I find to be it's best quality, but it doesn't happen often. :( |

Which shows would you compare Soul Eater Not to in terms of tone and content? |
