I'm glad I started this anime because it was really good.
I hope the 2nd season won't disappoint me , although I don't see the point of a 2nd season because this had almost everything I wanted.

Great end, very moving. Now I know why this series is such a classic.

Interesting. I've started this series because I liked the opening and had virtually no expectations when I started. I don't know anybody who has seen it so it really was a surprise. While the story truly is pretty week and childish. However the story was so great in regards to feelings and innocence that it was shurely worth it and rememberable. And I will definatly remember the Otaru: "War is something that kills beloved ones." - Lime: "Yada" in on of the previves.

It's interesting that one of the first things that happens in the series is Otaru being mesmerized by the large portrait of the Lorelei in the museum but here he's face to face with the real thing and is clearly not very impressed or interested. It lends credence to how he said the marionette girls weren't replacements.
