| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I'm a little confused by this chapter. Echigo told a story about Kanzaki where he was a brilliant computer scientist who created the AI program that became "God", "Moon", and the basis for all the NPCs in the online game world. He tells us this is just a rumor so maybe none of it is true, but there are things which seem to support it; the doctor seems to be Kanzaki's partner from Echigo's story, and "God" and "Moon" both seem to be real. So how is it that Kanzaki is actually a useless shut-in? If this is true, how could he have created Moon? If he didn't create Moon, why does Tsukiko recognize him? And where did "God" come from? Does "Moon" even actually exist? But surely we've seen too much human behavior from Tsukiko for her to not be the special sci-fi AI in Echigo's story? |
