| Observations on BD/DVD sales - Great sales for Index movie - The best first week performance for Love Live! - Consistent sales for UtaPri2 and Railgun2 (also Yuyushiki) - Gargantia selling almost 9k, not far from Stalker estimate of 9.5k - 20% drop in sales for the much-delayed Haganai2 vol.2 from vol.1 - At the end ViviPan still sells around 6k - Dangan Ronpa is doing fine with sales of 6k which is 27% higher than Stalker estimate - Rozen not ranking in BD or DVD chart meaning sales of <2.8k in total - The sales of Totoro has not reflected the news of Miyazaki's announcing his retirement (from feature length film making) so expect even higher sales of this and other Ghibli titles next week. The game is indeed popular in Japan and before the season started some anime fans in Japan even tipped it as one of the bestselling titles of the season but the hype quickly cooled down once the season started. So while the game is still popular the anime adaptation is doing fine but not spectacularly so. | Ouch, those Haganai NEXT sales... I guess that's what you get from delaying it so much. Pretty sure the delay was caused by some kind of disagreement between the anime staff and the light novel author. Good to see Little Busters! on the chart, too. Danganronpa isn't selling badly, which is good. The anime itself is not THAT well produced, so no big surprises there. And Majutsu owning that chart is also no surprise. What's not to like about a film with Biribiri? |

Symphogear's still rocking in the music category, I can say the series is safe for a third season based on that alone, plus there's merchandise to back it up if BD sales go south like everything else that isn't Free or Monogatari this season. |

But putting everything in one big BD/DVD box does make the acquiring cost considerably lower. And at the moment its ranking in Amazon is at the top of all anime (BD or DVD), topping even Free, Hidamari OVA, Kabukigatari or SnK v3. So the Gatchaman BD box finally got announced. We'll have to wait until Jan 2014 before it gets released though. |

In Japanese forums I read that many who have been hesitating about whether to go for the standard edition of GirlPan now decide to go for the US version instead.
