And, I'll probably at least finish the series. We'll see. It has a promising start, at the very least. |

| Well, I haven't seen much anime, but I've read quite a bit of manga. I've just been lazy about working on my list. I've been sick today, so I've been lazy about everything today, haha. |

| Why is there already a whole group of strangers fretting about this mopey dick who mumbled he couldn't log out once? Why is there a big drama about some admin guy who passed out in front of his computer? Really? "There's no way to know whether it's true or not, but I can believe it" - Why do these people jump to believe the stupidest shit and immediately start theorising wacked out stuff about games carrying on when you logout FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER?! Even if that is apparently the plot of this show... but people aren't like this. Guardian looks dumb, cat is stupid and all the characters are horrible. Think I'm trying to say I'm dropping this. !!! Hope y'all enjoy it even if I don't. There's always Lain again. |

If someone is dying and you can do something about it, the majority of people would probably get involved. 2. Because it's a video game. It's supposed to be virtual reality and yet someone was damaged so badly in the game that it effected them in real life. It could happen to others. It could get worse over time and end up killing someone. 3. People believe a lot of things that they have no way to prove. Religion, for one thing. The guy is either telling the truth or not. Either way there's no way to know whether or not it's true, but Bear's just getting the feeling that it is. It's called intuition. 4. It's episode two out of TWENTY SIX and you are already convinced that you know the characters to the fullest extent. And who cares if the Guardian and cat look stupid? If I dropped an anime every time I didn't like the designs then I wouldn't have watched some of my favorite anime. |

| the end of this ep nearly makes me want to drop the series... what an absolute pussy protag. well, at least there's plenty of room for him to improve... he's very unlikeable atm though (but the girl is nice) also @Blackouting I believe it's kind of the whole point of this show to make you question so many things and look for answers as you continue to watch it... though I doubt we'll get all the answers by the end of the series, I do think it'll make (a lot) more sense than it does now... |
| I don't mind mystery, but these people are hugely overreacting given the knowledge they have. WE know something's up, but they don't. Some weird guy passing says something weird, you just ignore them, you don't stop what you're doing and immediately form a posse, wondering if reality as we know it is broken. And I can't remember much of the plot but I don't think there was much reason for them to panic because some fat dude passed out in front of his computer, let alone to worry that the game was alive. |
| yeah I totally agree with you.... I just don't get why they give a shit at all. The only person that should be worried about this is the sys admin as it's HIS responsibility considering everyone else is helpless against Tsubasa (or rather his guardian monster or w/e it is). If everything doesn't work as a player I'd just abandon the game and play something else, lol. Why bother to worry about some random ass dude I know nothing about.. if the game master aka sys admin can do nothing I'd just say screw it all and stop playing.. I mean all the other players are able to log out, so what's the problem really.. I guess I just have to keep watching *sigh |
| This is sad. he passed out while being online rpg... he will never come back. He wanted to escape from real world so it's not so bad situation... but the rules are similar in the game than in the real world we living so he's screwed x_x' Mysterious girl convinces him there's a place where he can be in peace (alone), and said to be his guardian and protect him :/ Hmmm.. |

| I always think about what Bear says about resetting a video game and leaving that virtual world in peril. This episode elaborated on Tsukasa's weirdness. It was a little weaker than the first episode though. |
I LOVE THIS SERIES but im having a really hard time staying awake for more than 2 minutes lol |
