| They changed Irvin's speech to make it less exaggerated. The original was: 90% of the Scouting Legion died in 4 years, 50 % of the new recruits will die in the next mission, 5 times more soldiers and 20 years will be necessary to retake Wall Maria. |
| Awesome episode, pumped up for next week. Finally this phaggot Jean had some balls to stand up, and finally accepted my dude Eren. Took this guy along time to acknowledge how weak he was and how strong Eren is! |
| Damn, Jean once again proves why he is the best character. Unlike the main cast, he feels a wide spectrum of emotions and shows moments of introspection. His part with Marco actually made me feel a bit sad. |

| This episode makes me miss Marco even more. Jean annoyed me a bit in this episode though. Maybe it was the yelling at Eren and pressuring him with his friends lives. Mikasa threatening Levi was great, I wanna see Mikasa confront Levi so bad, it would be hilarious. |
| Poor Marco, when will they stop bringing the poor guy up. Next week will be the start of my favorite arc. Since I know someone who doesn't get why Erwin did that speech, it's because he only wanted strong-willed soldiers. Dem cloaks. Levi is really hot on a horse LADY BONERS FROM LEVI Good episode. |

| That was a pretty emotional moment when everyone was walking away during the branch selection, and the only ones who stayed behind were filled with fear, doubt, regret, and unease. Time to build a time machine and skip this week long wait. |

| This was a fantastic build-up episode and probably one of the best non-action episodes yet. Everyone was worried to join the Recon/Survey Corps or not. That scene where everyone was leaving except the top 10 and Armin was so emotional, I loved it. However the best scene from this episode was when everyone put on their uniform. Wings of Freedom ftfw! Being reminded about Marco's death so much in this episode made me feel so damn sad. That ending scene got me so hyped. Oh my god! DAT PREVIEW, WTF! This new arc, lets GOOOO! 5/5 |

| That cape scene was incredibly cheesy. lol Anyways, this was a great episode with some really nicely executed scenes of tension in preparation for the upcoming story content. I've been really enjoying the build-up in the past two episodes, but I wonder when we'll return to the concept of the true enemies against humanity. Jean is one of my absolute favorite characters in this series. Am I the only one? I feel like he's one of the most humanly sympathetic characters in the show. Though he lacks resolve, strength, and confidence, he constantly pushes himself forward, and I really like watching his growth. His vulnerability stands out against the conviction of our main trio. Actually, I've really been enjoying a lot of the weaker characters in general. Can't wait to see what we have in store for the next arc. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| I'm speechless, Jean was deep, his scream in the induction ceremony was epic, Erwin's speech was intense, everyone of the main Trainee characters faced their fears and decided to join the Scouting Legion, from Jean to Connie, and Sasha, very brave! well yeah, except Annie who went to the Military Police. And the last scene when those two kids were watching the Scouting Legion and Eren noticed them and smiled, it reminded me of when Eren was little and his dream was to join the Scouting Legion. And of course RIP Marco, being reminded about his death made me sad... It's going to be intense, and exciting! Wings of Freedom LET'S GO!!!!!!! |

| Well this was rather the intense-emotional episode, much respect for Jean character development, he is easily a favorite character candidate. The recruit’s choice making scene was a serious goosebumps and Erwin having quiet the devastating speech. Annie in the end didn't join the Survey corps, but am sure she will get in later on ,i hope. Marco getting his moments in the episode was really a tearjerky. Lmao’d at Mikasa calling Levi a chibi (wonder if he heard her lol). Finally Survey corps are out off the walls, next episode is the starting of the hardcore stuff. |
