Eren is DAH BOSS!! I really like this scene because it symbolized ancient Greek's ideal of Titans as heroes who carry the Earth on their shoulders. Nowadays, Titans just let loose and eat human left and right :) With the hole plugged by a random giant boulder, the Battle of Trost has concluded. Human 1 - Titan 99999, but it is a good start. It would be more satisfying if the slaughtering of remaining Titans in Trost were shown more. I swear Mikasa looks moe-r and moe-r every episode. This is obviously intentional XD. Corporal Levi is also here! Hail the corporal! This episode was a blast in term of animation and music. But next one might even be better because it's time for Eren to go against some coward humans. |

| Had real fun in capping Levi's entrance! :) I'll post a pic of what has left of him later. First, nice bridge b/w the last episode and Jean's escape and rescue. Connie returns the favor, Annie and Marco help. I really appreciate these modifications and extras, as well as the accents on Mitabi, his team, and Ian's sacrifice, because these people stood for their words, despite their doubts and fears. Also, it's a grim reminder from the manga, that everyone can die. The very moment you adjust to the characters in an arc or situation, death comes closer once again. With Armin's efforts coming into fruition, danger also increases :  I think they showed how Eren's body changes colors from his initial titan form to the dark brick-colored one, steaming from exhaustion and high temperature. The OST made up the rest for Eren's words, which remain one of my favorites in the manga. An old player (we saw in the very first episode) gradually comes into focus - Erwin. I'm curious if they could add more to his character in the future episodes. A long intro, a bit bitching with the slow motion (I approve, btw), and a thrilling finale of the Trost arc. Good work! |

I don't understand much about animation logistics, but it would be awesome to have more animators alocated to animating SnK with the start of the Summer Season :p |
| I watched this again thinking recap was this ep. (to save time to watch the first half)... By the way, I think there's needing a separate entry in MAL for recap because it's ep. 13.5, not ep.14. |

Usually recaps get separate entry than their series even though they air at the same day of the week. Edit: I think I understand why the replyer said so (even I felt like a recap watching the beginning of this ep., too), but I think 13.5 is full recap ep., while those regular eps. are few minutes of recap + most of new contents, so it's different. |

| Recap was a little long, skipped through it. After just powering through the last few episodes, ep 13 really felt like a pay off. Kept me interested and the use of the OST was great here. 9.5/10 for me on this one. Does anyone know what the song when Eren was sealing the wall was? |

| Good episode. Lots dead, but Eren pulled through and plugged the hole, then promptly got thrown in the dungeon for his troubles. lol. Levi is badass to be sure, but he seems like a douchebag. Can't stand that tone of voice of his. Hopefully he will get better. |
| Nice, I love Eren's thoughts as he was walking towards the breach, about how people are born free. Also, nice seeing Jean escape, along with Marco, Connie, and Annie who went to help him. But Marco's corpse...was just horrifying. The art style looked almost exactly as the manga. He will be missed. And the regurgitation was gross too. Oh yeah, and Rico was pretty badass. I love all these anime additions :D Lastly, Levi!!! He looked kind of like a beast at the end there when he was talking to Eren through the jail bars. And OnoD makes his debut as Erwin. Oh, and hey there Sonny and Bean. I'm glad the recap episode is 13.5 and not 14. They definitely need all the episodes they can for the FT arc. |
| Very great episode. The ost was awesome and though there were many casualties, this episode wrapped up nicely. |

| Finally another decent episode, 3 min for a recap is pretty long but it was well done and so was the rest of the episode, hopefully this continues. |

| What's with the prolonged recaps we've been getting at the beginning of each episode? Especially since we're getting a full mid-series recap... Not sure how I feel about some of the rock-oriented soundtracks we got this week, but oh well, I still enjoyed this episode immensely, despite the boulder-moving scene feeling kind of underwhelming (for some reason). My interest is really piqued on Levi now that we got to see his behavior and attitude in the jail scene, since so far we've mostly just seen his skill in killing Titans and not his actual persona. |

| That part where Levi came to the rescue was definitely a totally bad ass heroic scene that I was definitely looking forward to seeing. The first time the two exchanged eye contact...no I'm not hitting at anything romantic, haha but I think Levi established what he sees Eren as when they were talking to him in that prison cell. A piece of crap (I couldn't stop laughing) which I'd describe as being progress compared to not even existing. I kept pointing and screaming "THEY HAVE TO SHOWTHE FLOWY CAPE WITH THE WINGS, THEY HAVE TO OR ELSSEEEE!!" Thank goodness they did to save me from the embarrassment c My timing was a little off, but my friends wouldn't stop giving me weird looks. |

| Became about time that this arc ended. The recap was a tad too long for my liking, but Eren and Levi being total bosses luckely made up for the 3 minutes of recap. The OST was epic as well, so really, there isn't a lot to complain about this episode. The ED of this show is steadily starting to grow on me, I didn't really liked it at first, but the more I hear it, the better I think it is. 9.5/10 for this episode, second or 3th best episode as of yet in my opinion. |
