Hi, its been a while since I have been MAL, did you ever get around to watching End of Evengelion?

Yeah, I stayed there for a little over a month. I wish I could go back now, It would be so much fun!! I hope anyone who wants to go there gets the chance because it really is an amazing experience.

Yeah, those last two episodes get everyone, but to me it is part of the charm of the series as a whole. The End of Evangelion will make things more clear for you I am sure. EOE was created as an alternate ending to the series, this is believed to be because a majority of the original series fans complained relentlessly about the ending to Anno. Though ironically EOE is thought to be very close to what Anno had envisioned the original ending of the series to be if budget constraints and some censorship problems had not reared their ugly heads. When I stayed in Japan for a while, the family I lived with had an Evangelion fan that told me all this information. Never had heard about the series till I went over there.

I just thought I would check in & see if you finished Evangelion yet. I'm happy to see you seemed to enjoy it as much as I did!

Yeah Angel Beats is worth picking up again, I get why the first episode might be a little confusing but if you watch through everything comes together and you'll understand. Anyway hit me up if you have any questions or want any other recommendations.

Welcome bro, Kirito's a boss. That said maybe you should check out Accel World although the main character isn't nearly as awesome as Kirito. Or you could also check out Angel Beats, a random recommendation.

I find when a series really hooks you in, it's next to impossible to not keep watching.

It will be explained in the later episodes. After you're done watching NGE (original) I would watch the last alternative ending movie, End of Evangelion. From there on, if you want to re-watch the series go for the movies.
I see you have yet to see Steins;Gate, Death Note and Fate/Zero. They're a must watch! Oh and Shingeki No Kyojin (which is currently airing). You have a lot of great anime to get through.

Hi, Welcome to the site. Sry to be like Shebadi, but holy shiz you're watching Evangelion, my favorite anime of all time!!!! You might want to take Shebadi up on his offer, I don't know of anyone who watches Evangelion and doesn't have questions after.
