| Unless, Hachiman undergoes some character development, he won't end up with anyone. Hachiman cannot accept Yui's feelings due to some unexplained trauma that warranted his behavior to nice girls nor can he accepted by Yukino because she finds his behavior disgusting and branded him in the 'acquaintance zone'. Poor Yui is crushing on Hachiman at his worst right now. Her feelings grew because he saved her dog and even help boost her self-esteem in Episode 2, but Hachiman thinks she is nice because of feelings of obligation, thanks, and pity, NOT romance. Of course, we don't see any gradual change in Hachiman's mentality so far, and I reckon that it stays the same (if I'm analyzing the implications of the wiki correctly). As in Yukino's case, her feelings for Hachiman are negatively neutral at best. But notice how that when anyone is helped by Hachiman, they tend to be in somewhat good terms with him. He is at least now noticed by the people he has helped instead of ignored. Seems to me that in due time, Yukino will be helped in some way and will possibly lead to stronger feelings for Hachiman, romantic or otherwise. Thing is, we are hinted on Yukino's problems by Hiratsuka-sensei and her reaction to Saki's comment about her family's well-being. My take is that Yukino will NOT ask for help because of her stubborn "noblesse oblige" mentality, and it is up to Hachiman to help her on his own (possibly with the help of Yui). Like how Hachiman saved Yui's dog by impulse and what have you, perhaps he will help Yukino in some similar way when actually witnessing her problem. Thus, Yukino may actually develop feelings of romance or may even consider the guy as a friend. Remember their little banter about change in the first episode? IIRC, Yukino can't accept something about herself, but Hachiman says that she should because changing is like running away. I feel that both of their character developments will be tied together and will influence one another. We have a person who wants to change and another who doesn't want to change. Seems to me that their developments will be pretty dynamic and are crucial to their feelings for one another. I vote for Yukino because I think that in the end, their opposing views will nearly switch and both will find what it is like in the other's shoes. Where one accepts their true self and where one is more flexible to change. By understanding the other's views, I strongly think that YukinoXHachiman is very very very favorable. That is if Yukino doesn't place Hachiman in the 'friend zone' instead of the 'acquaintance zone'. |
| Yukino is probably going to win in the end, but I'm rooting for Yui. I don't really dislike Yukino but something about her I'm super perfect yet I'm an outcast character turns me off. |

| I'm rooting for Yui ;) Even though I don't really like bubbly girls that much. It's just that Yukinon's personality somehow irritates me more that Yui's childishness. She's way too rude to the MC. I like their conversations, they are enjoyable and all but I can't picture them together. The both of them are too similar to have a good relationship. Ahh but since I tend to root for the "second" girl/boy almost all the time, I fear Yukino will be the final choice. Still, I hope it won't end that way this time as well. I think it'd be too cliché for Hachiman to end up with Yukino. That's way, overall, I'm better with Yui. She a nice girl who seems to truly like Hachiman. |

| I just don't know...I went with Yukino x Hikki but then again Yui x Hikki is equally lovable...I could go for both...I don't care who ends up with him.I am way more interested in his way of thinking.This show is deeeep. |
