| Damn what an episode. That Revy fan service at the beginning was almost to hot. How can Rock be so calm with such a view on her :P Chang is such a badass. He and Revi absolute unstoppable. I loved the gunfire at the beginning and hearing Revi admitting he's better then her was a pretty big surprise. I'm curious how they found out about the parole. I didn't expect Revi had another one. Pretty funny. That thai woman was pretty cool, but of course Rock had be get kidnapped..... Can't wait to see the next episode and what will happen. |

| Hmm, seems a little underwhelming for the penultimate episode but whatever. Chang seemed cool, Revy was more tolerable than usual, and Rock got captured. That's about it. |

| Shenhua's Taiwanese accent in the dub is so stereotypical and borderline-racist but man it sounds awesome at the same time I can't lie. I can say the same to the Irish driver, Leigharch and his accent. Good thing I'm watching it in English and not Japanese since I'd miss out on gold like hearing them talk. On a real though, the episode was really good and again had Revy look awesome while fighting with Mr. Chang and dispatched the people who were after them with pure ease. Also nice foreshadowing from the past as I remember Rock talking to Revy in the past, asking her if she would save him incase she was kidnapped when they had Garcia in the car with them, and now that's turned into reality this time around as Rock got kidnapped with ease along with the documents. Can't wait to see Revy and Shenhua slay some assholes the next episode, the final one of the first season. |

| The gunfights in this episode were soooooo much better than that whole Roberta arc, my god... They were actually reloading the guns, getting cover, catching the enemies by surprise and not magically dodging every bullet (for the most part) so, yeah, this episode had the best action scenes imo. I think that whole maid arc really dragged down the anime, since it didn't have any character development for Rock and Revy and was pretty ridiculous, especially since episode 7 was hands-down the best. At least the quality seems to be getting as good as those early episodes. Plus, LoL at Rock becoming a hostage again hahahaha, but this time it's different, he toughened up a little. |

| Wow talk about stumping the guy seeing Shenhua for the first time watching this episode. I mean wow, I don't think the accent she has was meant to be stereotypical and racist at all but my god I can honestly see why Saffron Henderson feels embarrassed about the voice she had to give for her but at the very least she enjoyed her time on Black Lagoon so that's the main thing. As for me? Yeah it's bad but I can honestly look past it because of the good qualities Shenhua has as a whole. That fact she's able to gut a couple of guys with her throwing knifes saving Revy and just being quite hilarious to listen to. "My English not good because I am pure Taiwanese. Maybe you like me to skin your ass, bitch?" Nice bit of foreshadowing in the previous episode in this that I didn't catch on to until after I saw the episode is that Rock asked Revy if he'd save her if she ever got kidnapped. Now it's the complete opposite and Rock himself got kidnapped and now Revy is going after him and saving him. Cool additional characters besides Shenhua particularly Mr Chang when he was fighting back to back with Revy at the beginning of the episode. Loved the fact that the fake password was: May the Force be with You. As a Star Wars fan that got a laugh out of me. Fantastic episode, shame it's gonna be the last episode. At least for season one anyway but regardless it's been a really good ride for me. |
| Mr Chang was cool, but it was even cooler to hear those Australian and Chinese character talk. Said it so many times but I love this dub!! And I knew that Rock would get captured one day once he and Revy were talking about it in the Roberta arc. Cool to see that pay off. I wonder what the password was in the JP version, I doubt it’s “May the force be with you” like it was in English 🤔 |

| This episode is quite action heavy, with two fairly long action scenes. The plot hook is pretty fun, Black Lagoon company has to deliver a briefcase to someone somewhere in the Philippines. This is a good change of pace from the previous episodes, which were quite dull imo. |
| Mr Chan is one amazing guy id love to see more of him. Rock got captured and Revys gonna save. Rock needs a gun or something to protect himself. I feel like rock hid the files from the briefcase, maybe in his cloths or something. |
