| Ok, so a few eps in. The friggin' bird is really ridiculous. Paha. Anko is cute as buttons. Kanna is a qt also. And I love this thing between Tamako and Mochizou (who is a darling). I say thing though, she couldn't even tell her sister has a lil crush, so poor Mochizou. |

| Cute episode! I'm glad that it was the guy with glasses she liked instead, nice plot twist, and gave some love to an under appreciated sort of character. I don't expect anything from this show except for constant cuteness! |

| Anko having a crush on the megane kun instead of the usual "generic handsome school boy" was a nice twist. Looks like she's getting used to the bird too, and he's probably the only one who calls her An. |

| This was probably the most enjoyable ep for me, it was cute and while, like the rest of the show, generic it was more tolerable than usual. It didnt even need the bird to carry it |

| I didn't like this episode as much as the last, but it was still an improvement over the first two. This time we focus on Tamako's imouto Anko as she continues to struggle against being a mochi shop owner's daughter. I think it's a nice light little conflict to introduce, and it was especially well illustrated by her not being able to hang out with her friends on a holiday because the shop will be busy. In the end it seems natural the show wouldn't be too serious, it is primarily sugary sweet after all, but still it was a nice touch that made the moe moppet come to life a little bit more. I also liked the minor plot line involving Tamako and Anko's mother. The episode begins with a flashback in which their face obscured mother, dresses Anko up as like I guess a shrine maiden or something. She is fussy about the whole process but her mother talks her through it. It is somewhat subtly implied this uninvited memory might also be a reason she is discontented as the festival goes on. It comes full circle when the reason she misses out on going with her friends, is flower shop owner enlists her help in dressing up another young girl in the same fashion. Anko in a sweet scene, employs the same techniques to soothe the child as her mother once did. And then she feels a sense of obligation to stay and watch her. I think Anko was the strongest part of the episode. I also agree with whoever said, it somewhat stunned me when the boy she liked turned out to be the glasses one. And the closet scene was the cuteness climax, it was just too precious. But I thought the festival theme of the episode was not too shabbily implemented. The Bird standing in as their mascot, and especially Mochizu struggling to carry the shrine because he thought it would bring him and Tamako closer both made me chuckle. I think it's probably not the smartest approach with a twelve episode series like this, to try and cover all the seasons and as many SOL cliches as you can. It'd be nice to just have you know normal episodes, like last week that focus on the characters and not their interpretation of a big theme. But still this show can be very watchable even at its most formulaic. So ah well I'll probably see this anime through to the end. |

| Another good episode, I really liked it. Anko at the beginning was so cute >.< And also, poor Mochizou. Tamako is so dense with him. Not to mention that it's kinda funny that Anko is the only one in her family that knows what is happening. And in the end, I thought Anko had a crush on that black-haired kid but I was wrong. However, I'm glad she likes the megane kid instead. They look really cute together, being honest. All in all, it was a really nice episode. |

Anime like K-on, Aria, and Non Non Biyori one that i have finished very recently gave me quite the satisfying feeling when watching them. Tamako Market feels off, while it definitely has the same tropes it fails to give me the same satisfaction as other anime of its kind, atleast so far. But with having seen 1/3 of the anime i'm pretty doubtful it will change. Also Dera is pretty annoying wouden't mind seeing him go. you are legit the first person in over a year to talk here |

| All of the kids can't be that cute! Such a lovely episode full of stunned little girl actions, An-chan! Seems like she had a crush with a cute little boy too, its surprisingly good for me! Dera contribution in this episode was indeed useful. I don't believe Dera can be that nice bird when the festival needs it, amazing! Ofc Tamako and her friends, with Shiori too, always bring a good mood for me. Yeah, amazing festival, with amazing sceneries! Next episode goes to pool? Well, i can't wait for it! |

| Love how Anko understands romantic love better than her older sister even at her young age LOL! This is clearly shown when she understands Mochizou's desire to impress Tamako by helping her at the festival, while everyone else in the family and ESPECIALLY Tamako, seem utterly clueless as to his intent/desire to impress her LOL! Anko's advanced maturity in regards to romance is something that holds true throughout the series and into the LOVE STORY film where her and Midori help him to finally connect romantically with Tamako. This aspect of her character establishes her as a little lady with some solid intuition & maturity already for her age, more than her naive but goodhearted sister, that's for sure. This one and episode 9 are undoubtedly my favourites for having strong emphasis on Anko, my favourite character. |

Good lord Tamako is quite dense i won't lie xD but i guess thats one thing that makes her sweet. lmao it seems to also run in the family with her dad and grandpa, but thank god Anko didn't pick that gene up. Golden Dera was pretty fucking cool won't lie, surprised he didn't sweat the paint off maybe a Tamako relationship arc as well maybe sometimes please ? |
