| Great news tweeted just now. Starting today (early morning Wed Dec 26 in Japan) the "120%" alcoholic beverage** has gone on sale in the city of Ooarai -- the home port of Girls und Panzer. As far as I know, this special alcoholic beverage can't be purchased anywhere else except in Ooarai. The tweet mentioning this photo came from the railroad company in that region. ** More specifically, it is Junmaishu (純米酒) which is one kind of special-designation sake. These are premium sakes distinguished by the degree to which the rice has been polished and the added percentage of brewer's alcohol or the absence of such additives. In the case of Junmaishu, it is made of special pure rice, including at least 15% Kōji rice. Furthermore, the rice polishing ratio must be below 70%.
