| Definitely not the best episode. While the idea of drawing in the concept of this arc out of Sherlocks Holmes is good, I think it is already overused. It's beginning to become a tendency that the case seems always resolved, when in fact, it's not. Sure, it's a way to attempt being less predictable, but it's resulting the other way around; it was obvious this wouldn't end so easily. I don't like animal cruely, so this episode was cringe-inducing. The good thing it's that it wasn't filled with the random comedy-inserts that always ruin the mood. I suspected of the maid since the beginning, I felt there was more to it than it was shown. I suspected of the maid since the beginning, I felt there was more to it than it was shown. Sebastian said he hated dogs and loved cats. I think it might be due to him being a demon and since cats are introvert and distrustful, it fits his personality; dogs, in instead, trust people and follow orders around happily for their owners, something he has to do begrudgingly in order to get his profit. Or maybe I'm just over-analyzing. But Ciel barking just after he said it was funny. The most interesting that happened in the whole episode is the glimpses of Finnian's past. It made me curious and I wonder what kind of things did he had to endure. |

| Ciel barking was one of my favorite things about this episode. Other than that, I liked it. Angela seemed suspicious since the beginning — characters that are that close to being 'perfectly good' always hide something. Also, Finnian's past is something I want to watch. I like him a lot and he seems to be very sweet even though I'm betting his past was filled with tragedy. We'll see. |

| Come on Sebastian I know you love dogs too... come on, man . Anyway this arc is very interesting. I think this is what's going on: There really is a devil dog and that probably is the naked guy that's making short appearances. Why he's naked? Well he must be a werewolf or something. And Henry's just a puppet being controlled by that werewolf, via Angela, to do all those stuff. Angela and that dude have some sort of relation with each other.. maybe they're sex friends or something. Well onto the next episode. |

| i know this is a tribute to sherlock holmes but this episode felt very scooby doo to me. not that it's a complaint, it was okay, just a bit, i don't now, different from the vibe of the rest of the episodes til now. tht being said, i think the rest of the season is probably gonna be fillerish seen as some comments here state that by the time this was out the manga didn't have gone that long yet. and i do remember that naked guy but i don't really remember who he is from when i watched it first so i guess we'll find that out next episode. |
