Yes, there was a reason. Yes, it was even kinda interesting from the plot point(although only half true scientifically), but to present it in such an exaggerated and hyperbolic way is absolute nonsense.

The anime had good potential, but the further it went, the worse it got. Stupid annoying characters, focus on unimportant and uninteresting things, extremely slow pacing. I can go on and on with this.

Looking back, I think I knew it wasn't going to get any better, but I probably would have watched a few more episodes before an inevitable drop. However, this one made the situation waay worse.

Well, what can I say? it wasn't a good anime and I am gladly not going back to it.
