Are you fucking kidding me? The story was pretty bad already, but this just makes me sick. I don't really mind rape as much as most people, but when they portray a strong and innocent virgin character as the MC's romantic partner, seeing them get raped is the LAST thing I want.

I'm done.

Though I'm against it, I think the rape was a brilliant plot device. In the real world, the female won't really attach to you unless you've mated with them. Mating causes certain attachment hormones to be released in the female. In this case, Dragon girl thought her lover did it, so she became attached to him.

Would Dragon girl have followed her lover to the ends of the earth otherwise after they left the tomb for good?

This is literally what happens. I mean i'm not not sure what your taste is, but this is one of the main focal points of this Chinese Classic.

A really famous fictional martial arts novelist wrote this in the late 1950s.
