| Do you guys think this is the end of the Gintama Anime as a whole or it will be back? Personally, I think it'll be back. But when is the question. If you watched the latest episode, all the characters were trolling because the anime started quickly without allowing the manga to catch up. SO will it be a year hiatus or more? According to the episode, the timing for Gintama' was completely off and they didn't give the manga enough time to produce material... God I can't survive without my Gintama.. EDIT: We also have the 2nd Gintama Movie to look forward to |

| Omg. I know exactly how you mean. I just can't survive without Gintama! I used to be watching a few episodes a day, and when I finally caught up with where the show was, I went crazy because I had to wait a WEEK for each episode! Now, I find out that the show is ending. Annoying, right?? So, IMO the show is just going on hiatus. Like you said, a lot of this episode's material was hinting towards a continuation later on and that everyone would be 'lazy' if the show kept going right now. Gintama is waay too successful for the studio to stop the anime completely just for new manga material. I'm hoping it'll come back around Spring 2013. Of course, I have no way of knowing, but seeing how things usually play out, I'm looking around that time :) Oh and yeah. Really can't wait for that! When I saw the preview troll for the new "movie" I was like O_O I WANNA SEE THAT. One question though, is the movie based on that fake preview or is it something else? |

| pretty obviously a hiatus, they'd rather take a break and wait for new chapters than to take the bleach route and waste time and money, This way they can actually save up cash to put into the show when it returns |
