| Uh, it was a minor throw-away line and my knowledge of Spanish history is pretty much non-existent, but weren't the Hapsburgs out of power some centuries before Franco and the Civil War? That aside, another cute episode. Given how she plays into Sendel's guilt, one wonders what exactly happened to the girl he married. |

| I rolled my eyes at Keaton making a major archaeological find by scuffling around on a beach for a couple of minutes. Unless he was bluffing about it all to give an excuse to get close to Sendel. You're right, it was the house of Bourbon that held the crown of Spain (and still does today). Sendel's pretty naive about the idea of the communists bringing freedom to Spain despte knowing the brutality of their Moscow sponsors. |
