This is why The best is definitely not the one that has the most realistic characterization, because - frankly - My opinion is that real women are either boring, slutty or evil. I'll go with Shiori and Haqua, thank you very much.

Going for this kind of character (when the manga has been hammering into our heads that reality sucks) is a slap to my face TBH.
I've seen too many Harem RomComs ending with main character choosing the worst possible character out of the bunch, and Kaminomi had so many great characters - I said to my friend once that I'm kinda pissed at the manga because there are so many nice charadesigns and personalities that are wasted because it's obviously impossible to make a harem end here - and out of all those characters (like... what? 20? ) to actually manage to choose YET AGAIN the dullest and the least interesting character...
Sometimes I feel like they are doing this out of spite.

Though I still could be wrong, and I pray to Keima that it is so.

Also Chihiro's case is also the only one in which:
a) she won't find out the truth by herself like other goddess girls. Sure, she may overhear something or Ayumi and/or Keima and/or Yui and/or Elsie can tell her but I don't really think any of them will. So it's probable she'll remain uninvolved without knowing the truth behind Keima being so cruel to her.

b) she won't have their memories erased either. So no more convenient memory-losses for you, Keima, right when both you and the girl need it the most. The issue will have to get resolved one way or the other.

c) she fell for Keima even without remembering the conquest. I know it may seem a bit cliche way of making her kinda special - but now Keima should actually consider some things he's never before considered. Like the fact that girls can FEEL - not only BE MADE FEEL.

And finally - Chihiro is the only girl that can be used by or even join Vintage. Or the Nikaido&Akari duo, more probably. That's what has to happen. HAS TO HAPPEN!
