No real introduction of the main character, world, objectives or struggles. They didn't really introduced the show at all. Judging by the preview, I guess that will happen next episode. | Quite a weak start but still I really enjoyed it. I really like Yuuki's voice, damn it suits him. Inga is so weird that it's awesome, his grown up 'feminine' side, owow. xD For me, I thought we didn't see much of Yuuki much, more of the girl in the blue. I hope she's one of the main characters in the series, kinda like her, but I doubt that'd happen. When Inga said 'I can't hold it anymore' I thought he was gonna pee. :S Also the start of the episode seemed interesting, story's gonna be a bit deep? :D Anyhow, good on Bones, Un-Go looks pretty good so far. Also was that a Hei cameo in the OP LOL xD Darker than Black Season 3 hint?! xD |

| It has potential. Though the sheer amount of character introductions kind of overwhelmed me (Couldn't tell who would be "important characters" throughout the show or just important for this one episode/case)....It was done well enough to spark my curiosity and I'll be checking out more episodes. Hopefully they explain Inga & Shinjirou a little more in later episodes....I'd hate it if they saved all that background explaining for episode 0 only.... |

| I didn't notice the art style too much, just after reading people's opinion on here, huh. I like chibi-Inga's creepiness. =) Those scenes were well portrayed. While the case was obvious I think this might be more interesting as the background of their world and circumstances are revealed. I think people looking for a good mystery will be disappointed. |

Come on BONES, I have faith. I think it will be 'mystery of the week' but unlike dective conan or kindaichi, each mystery will probably be linked and form part of an even bigger mystery. With only 11 eps, I dont think this series can afford the luxury of being episodic in the manner of which those two can be where there are long stretches with no plot progression. |

| Normally Not a fan of detective type animes just to boring to me imo,but this is the first one that had me interested in watching it just because of the characaters (PANDA Trap!?)yeusss. Plus the OP and ED were nice school for punishment is always nice |

| I actually liked the episode, despite all the negativity from the early impressions crowd. I thought it had an interesting art style, great music, and surprisingly mature political theme. It could go anywhere from here, but based on all the set-up involving the main cast, my guess is this will be episodic in terms of case structure but linear in terms of character development, which looks to be the most interesting aspect at this point. Besides, BONES isn't THAT bad. |

| I have to say I like this anime, and that's coming from someone that absolutely hated things like GOSICK and Kami-sama no Memocho. The art appeals to me (don't know why, like a clean, stark look I guess), the characters seem cool (especially the detective, finally one that's not a pussy), and the OP and ED were pretty good (good enough to get me to look for downloads). It's nothing EXTREMELY special, but I give it an 8 for the first episode. Let's see if it picks up speed. |

Another lame murder-mystery, with bland and uninteresting characters, uninspired mysteries, and ridiculous motives. WORST WIFE EVER; and what a dumb reason to kill her husband. | After Madoka and the wiiiiide faces now we have UN-GO and the loooong faces. Well i must say although i enjoy senein atmosphere the episode just wasn't strong enough, lots of characters thrown in first time didn't help ether. The show needs a more wholesome plot that will make things interesting and more heartwarming characterization. Lats see how it goes. For now is mediocre. Btw anyone saw that Hei copy-cat guy? Or does this show have contractors? I guess that weird kid/woman was something like a contractor. |
