sound like Pea Brain?

And I kinda lol'd by reading the synopsis.

Daimon Kaito is a high school boy, who loves puzzles. One day, the president of the student council gives him a mobile device and it leads him to an underground ruin buried in the school. He challenges an "insolvable puzzle" hidden in the ruin with his girlfriend Nonoha, but the puzzle turns out to be the dangerous "The Puzzle of Sage" created by the black society "POG". He manages to solve the puzzle but it's the beginning of a puzzle battle against POG.

Lolwut?

You know, I still have a stack of pogs somewhere in my room. I never thought of it as a puzzle game but I guess Pea/Phi Brain will teach me the truth. >_>

My thoughts exactly.

And am I the only one reminded of Air Gear from the main character's design?

Wait, is OP serious? "Phi" is not even close to "Pea". You know how in English Ph is pronounced F? Also Phi is Greek (Φ); pronounced F-eye. Too many plebs.

What is wrong with "edit message" ? it removed my whole answer

Anyway : Phi (Φ) is NOT pronounced as F-eye in greek - it's pronounced as Fi (as in Fist)
Knowning this, it's easy to understand why Pea and Phi sound similar

F-eye means "he will eat" (φάει) meaning that phi brain pronounced in the way you pronounce it means "he will eat brain" - phi brain is not about zombies though, it's about puzzles.

(captain obvious : i'm greek)

Similarly, almost all greek letters are pronounced in a terribly wrong way, like Vita called Beta , Mi (as in mist) called Mu etc

Despite the fact that you may be Greek the rest of the world pronounces Phi as Fai (or as I wrote earlier, F-eye). That's how sororities and fraternities do it, that's how it's referenced in mathematics in American schools, and that's how the Japanese pronounce it as well. ファイ・ブレイン 神のパズル is the name ファイ or ふぁい literally is pronounced as I stated. Furthermore, if you'd like more proof I shall present more evidence: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/phi

Rest of the world? You are a native English speaker, aren't you? Because the majority of Europe (excluding Britain and maybe some other countries) would pronounce it as "FI".

Hahah, that video was great. Every language has its discrepancies. British English also says Aluminum in a strange manner (in my opinion). English has a lot of bullshit, but so do many languages. I think that Spanish, Korean, and Japanese have difficult aspects that make them very difficult for a person whose first language is anything else. To chriskin: A good argument, and for our respective facts I believe we were both correct. I understand your statements as I hope that you understand mine.
