| Hm... to be honest, it would be nice to see this awesome show in TV but I think they should build up some storylines so we can more or less know what's happening between the parallel worlds of the main char's school life and the other world the two of them fighting. OVA was kind too vague to be scored imo, though enjoyable. |

| As much as I like the character design of BRS, I am skeptical of how one can really make an OVA and game out of several character designs and a music video sung by Hatsune Miku. In some ways it feels like that the BRS franchise is created to promote the merchandise for it, supported by a great deal of hype. Both OVA and the game (which are unrelated to each other story and settings-wise) seem kinda rushed in quality and incomplete, and I can't say that it made me want to like BRS more, but perhaps made me go the other way round? Well that's just my opinion so some may agree with this, while others mat strongly object to it. We now have BRS announced on Noitamina, which sounds rather ambitious to me. I won't put much expectations like I have for previous stuff so far, but I think I will still watch it to see what it's like. |

It's noitaminA. Virtually every noitaminA show lately is 11 episodes (or 22, if two cour like Shiki) . Every one cour show has been 11 episodes after Saraiya Goyou. I can't even begin to imagine BRS will be two cour. |

| Anyone seen the PV for the anime series for BRS? I wasn't too sure if they just really used the same scenes from the OVA or might as well be a continuation. I was hoping for it to have its own plot in a different universe. -___- I still don't mind Kana Hanazawa voicing BRS though. :P |

I probably would have preferred an OVA continuation as well. I don't really like the way the animation looks compared to the OVA. |

I actually thougt it was visually stunning and it seems that they are going to be using a mesh of styles if that new pv is any indication. 8 episodes seems very odd. I can only imagine that the noitaminA block has a series in the works that will be longer than the typical 11 following B*RS or Un-Go will run for a few episodes longer. |

I (and most of the people here I think) liked the character designs from the OVA, not because they were moe but because they were good. And now they did this to them. Also things like putting glasses on Yomi and changing hair styles make it feel like an entire new cast. |
| These "new" designs (the original world selves; however, I couldn't tell the "other" worlds were part of two different anime if they were put together, side-by-side) are VERY similar to Madoka Magica's. And I can honestly believe they made them as such because of Madoka Magica's success; Aniplex is one of the producing companies behind both of these anime, and Aniplex is the BIG one behind the BRS TV anime (notice they had nothing to do with the OVA) |
