| A bit disappointing. It felt like there were only four or five scenes in the entire episode and I don't know or care who this Usami is yet so the scene on the street and the roof were just too long. Especially when not much really happened. Felt like the weakest episode of the season. |

| I agree with Artic, would have made more sense for Jirou to explain to Subaru about the black mail material. Great episode though, doubt any guy apart from Jirou would resist Subaru offering to be kissed like that :p Kanade looked abit peeved when Jirou mentioned she should just go out with a guy if she likes them lol |

| I have mixed feeling about Usami. But what this episode lacked was Kana. I think this is the only episode in which Kana didn't have a major plan this episode. Or does she? I guess I'll figure out next week, or if I some how get my hands on light novel translations. |

| The main question i have here is about the cliffhanger if it can be called that. Just who is that blond cat eared girl and what is her objective it seems to have to do something with Subaru the question is what. Usami is a real tsundere and i wonder about her feelings since she seems attracted to Jirou even tho she doesn't really show it. And she needs to pay better attention while driving since her driving is way to dangerous like that with food in her mouth and all. She also seems like a very lonely girl not having any friends and i have a feeling that she doesn't see her parent's very either if she even got those. Then there is the accident those glasses where pretty original even if it's almost impossible to happen, every thing is better then the cliche accidental boob grab. |
| This was a rather generic episode and this show follows the same sort of guidelines as many anime yet I still really enjoy it, I do believe that Jirou should speak to Subaru alone afterwards, but to be honest there was no way he could potentially spare her feelings (not that he knows of them) without getting screwed over by the blackmailer, and now that he's hurt them Subaru will likely not believe Jirou, this to some degree is realistic, I've been in a situation of blackmail and my girlfriend ended up well, not believing a single word I said because I hurt her feelings, sometimes women can be so jealous (and pissed) they won't believe you at all (despite your agument being logical). Poor Subaru, I really like her, why does generic anime rules have to screw her over :( |

Despite you talking about just Subaru and Kanade, whilst not my personal preference nor do I condone it, I believe his sister also likes him, and whilst she says she likes Subaru, she may have some incestous feelings towards her brother, sorry but her freakouts over people 'having' her brother kind of indicates to it, however I believe she isn't a major part of his harem. I am fine as long as his Harem doesn't reach the extent of Rito from To-Love-Ru and To-Love-Ru Darkness (which makes me think he has the biggest Harem in anime, maybe Touma from To Aru Majutsu no index can rival him though especially in the Light Novels) Question what do you class as a good Main Guy for a harem, not characteristics actual examples of characters which fall into that category. |
