| while I still have my doubts with the adaptation turning into something epic by Hollywood, I'll most likely see it anyways once in theater......considering the Black is an actual fan of the manga and not just someone who thinks it will sell well(thinking dragonball here), it may actually turn out worth watching |

| Might be interesting, especially since Black is a fan of the manga himself, like Scrypt said, not like with Dragonball. It's also better filmable than Dragonball I think. Let's hope it turns into somthing that'll give a good image of Death Note to the people unfamiliar with anime. |

The death gods were more side kicks I reckon the movie could still work without them....and it's an adaptation. Adapatations doesn't mean it has to stick closely to the source. Now I'm not pro for anything live-action but considering there is more realism in Death Note then there is in Dragonball, I don't think it would end in utter failure. |
